Day of Cruise Philly to Port Liberty Left home at about 7:45 AM and headed up the NJ turnpike to I-95 N towards NY. Following the car's GPS, got off at the Bayonne exit. After a short drive with just a few turns, arrived at the terminal at around 10 AM. After dropping off our one large bag, parked inside the main parking garage right next to the terminal. It was just a very short walk to ...

Hurricane? What hurricane?

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We have previously traveled with Aussie friends we met years ago on a Voyageur of the Seas cruise in NZ, so when they said they'd booked this cruise, we jumped at the chance to join them. We had never been on Adventure of the Seas but like the size of Voyageur and Radiance, so thought it would be a good fit. First, the cabin. We usually book Junior Suites, with an occasional splurge on a ...

Cruising after the hurricane!

We were so anxious to sail on this refurbished ship since we had sailed on her before many times & loved her Sadly we were the first sailing on her after the hurricane Dorian. But on the brighter side we experienced her delivering food & supplies to the Bahamas. It was a great experience to even bring some refugees from Freeport to Nassau. The food on this ship was average & plentiful. No ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

I was on a 5-night cruise out of Galveston with ports in Costa Maya and Cozumel. This was my second time on Enchantment (my first was in 2006). This trip was a girls' trip with three of my friends. We stayed at Harbor House hotel the night before the cruise and parked at her sister hotel, The Galvez ($20 for 5 nights, garage parking). The hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the ...

I booked this cruise specifically to see Coco Cay after it's supposed $250 million update. The cruise was a mixed bag so to speak. Check in was a breeze, no waiting. Cabin was nicely arranged & large with 2 couches for an inside, but was NOT QUIET.Never book a promenade view room unless you don't want to sleep. I ate all the meals in the dinning room because I couldn't stand the crowds of ill ...

We just got back from a 5 day cruise on the Enchantment. It was my husband and I with our 2 kids (9 and 11). We had an overall fun trip. We have cruised a lot in the past but this was our first time with RC. The ship had great customer service. It was clean and well maintained. The buffet was very overcrowded, My kids got run over, we had trouble getting to the food and finding a table. The ...

Hurricane Dorian Nassau Special

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Thanks to Hurricane Dorian, what was suppose to be a seven night trip to St Maarten, St Thomas, and Coco Cay turned into a three night journey to Nassau. We were very grateful to be able to board the Harmony at all, since the date of embarkation had to be moved forward twice due to the storm and the closure of the port. The loss of life and destruction endured by the islands that were hit by ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

We chose this cruise because we had a discount from Royal Caribbean because the previous cruise we were on we had a flooded cabin on the Allure of the Seas. We also chose this cruise because of the size of the ship. Neither my husband nor I liked the bigger ship, Allure. We preferred the smaller ships. We also liked the time of year and the biggest reason was the ports of call. We were very ...

Not for kids

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

They have absolutely nothing for the kids to do. Besides the closet sized room for the tots. My daughter is 3 and was nervous about going to the kids section and they wouldn’t even let me walk her in and say goodbye.. ridiculous. No activities.. nothing. Rooms are small. Workers are nice except for a few that seems miserable. Carnival pride is definitely a better choice. Their dining room is ok. ...
