The Enchantment of the Seas isn't Royal Caribbean's newest or largest ship by any means. It is however a great ship that is well run, efficient and most definitely fun. For a great relaxed couple cruise the Enchantment of the Seas is a great choice. While it lacks the water slides and other features of the bigger ships it makes up for it with a relaxed vibe that just works.
The entertainment ...
We’ve done many transatlantic and transpacific cruises, most of which offered many activities and good entertainment for the many sea days. Unfortunately, this 18-day transpacific cruise was sorely lacking in both entertainment and enrichments opportunities, and was a boring experience overall. This was made all the worse by inclement weather that forced us to spend a lot of time indoors. And the ...
I live in Baltimore, so no need for hotel, etc. Both embarkation (getting to the port earlier helps) and disembarkation went very well! Since I was in some pain due to a back problem, I basically took it easy this cruise, although I did get off the ship at Bermuda and Coco Cay. Was very nice what they constructed at Coco Cay, although I did miss the walking paths they used to have through the ...
We desired a cruise out of our local port, Baltimore, for convenience. We did this same itinerary out of Cape Liberty on a different boat in 2010. We were able to get on the boat in the late morning, providing an extra day of onboard fun. We left on time.
Ship was clean and crew as friendly as last time. Captain did an exquisite job of dodging three hurricanes and we ended up with beautiful ...
We wanted a short cheaper cruise for our Anniversary. We had some gift cards from work to apply to RC to bring the cost down. We had to call RC multiple times and took a month and after our cruise for the cards to be applied. The booking agent with RC was not the most helpful to work with and was at times rude. We had it noted in our booking it was our Anniversary the day we left yet no one from ...
It was going where I wanted to go. My stateroom was right above the Dog pub so it kept me awake till midnight, however, did enjoy looking out over the promenade. Room wasn’t as clean as I hoped. Carpet stained, cigarette burns on bathroom sink, shelves not clean. Not much activity going on during the day. Twice I went to watch activity but no one showed up. Not ships fault, think more ...
Room was dirty, food was horrible. Stay away from Royal Caribbean, try others, their absolutely horrible. Called customer service, alerted them of our concerns, and only was offered $115 discount on a future cruise with them, I respectfully declined after spending almost $2000 on a 4 day cruise and coming home extremely dissatisfied. Room was dirty upon entering. Our dinner reservation was ...
We've sailed on Princess five times and we wanted to give Royal Caribbean (RC) a try. This was a 4-night cruise out of genteel Galveston to Cozumel only. Before the cruise we stayed one night at the charming Tremont House Hotel and parked the car at their luxurious sister hotel, The Galvez. Parking was only $18 total for all five nights, garage parking. The Galvez provided a free shuttle ...
My boyfriend and I cruised for a week in the Eastern Caribbean on Allure of the Seas. He was a first-time cruiser, while I've cruised with Royal Caribbean once, many years ago. I knew that RC would be perfect for us as we prefer luxury vacations with an array of activities that still provide the opportunity to relax.
The ship is large and well-appointed. We were shocked to learn that it is ...
It was very obvious that Royal Caribbean has cut costs on a lot of stuff. I am not sure if it was just this ship (should be the best since it was the most expensive) Or if Royal Caribbean just cut costs everywhere. Food quality was not good and was the same almost every night, Cleanliness of staterooms and ship where bad, Not kept up with maintenance, Hallways smelt like mold, Feces on my toilet ...
