The good and the bad...

Let me start with the good. The ship was immaculate. We were able to quickly get into our room and it was spotless along with the rest of the ship. The food was pretty good. JingJing was our server and she made the dining experience amazing. She was AWESOME! Gillian on the rising bar was also amazing. Entertainment as great. Enjoyed Earl Turner, the Aqua show and Cats. The bad... We ...

As we have experienced western Caribbean cruises in the past, We selected this cruise to compared the experience of the largest RCCI ship to those of the smaller ships. Our cabin was on the sixth deck with the extended balcony very spacious, quiet and clean, with our room steward Mayra who was wonderful. The people in the MDR were very considerate, polite friendly and professional and ...

My husband and I sailed on the 12/1 sailing of the Harmony of the Seas out of Port Canaveral. Embarkation was amazingly easy. We got to the port at about 10:45 thanks to great transportation from Country Inn and Suites. (We used the Park and Cruise deal which I highly recommend.) We just kept on moving all the way to the ship. It took about 10 minutes at the most without any glitches. Our ...

Great Cruise, but foul taste due to RC Corp office and their customer service

This was my second RC Cruise and probably my last. Its not because I didn't enjoy the trip. I thought the cruise itself was great, but an issue arose before the cruise and multiple attempts to work with RC even at the Executive Level to rectify the issue went down the drain. At a corporate level RC needs to be more accommodating to their customers especially those with young kids. As for ...

The ship itself is kind of average, nicely kept, but a bit dated in rooms and hallways. Public areas are all updated and very nice. Staff and food was very good. I actually thought the food was at the top of all the RCL cruises we have taken! Had the dining package and really enjoyed, even though there were only a few specialty restaurants. They decorated for Christmas while on the ship and did ...

We had never been on a cruise before. Glad we went. Glad it was a big ship, seas were calm. 2 Ports, Haiti and Jamaica, both were interesting, worth it. We sat alone in the Main dining room, which was okay, but we sort of got 'forgotten' due to the waiters being so busy with the larger tables. We ate at the buffet Windjammer mostly. Food was pretty good. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing ...

I hate to say anything negative about RC but sometimes they do things that just don't make sense. Because of that I couldn't rate them 5 stars this time. But before I get into why, I have to point out a couple of things that are not the fault of RC. Something I have commented on before. Fingers should never be used to pick up food. There are plenty of utensils for that. It's bad enough when ...

We had a cruise certificate for a discount on a Royal Caribbean Cruise we had gotten from Hilton. Only RCL goes to Haiti, so we figured we'd make use of the certificate by going somewhere no one else goes to. The cruise also went to Falmouth, Jamaica. Big Mistake. The moment we got onto the cruise ship, we went straight to our room. The trouble started immediately. People were smoking pot ...

I will start by saying this was my 6th cruise overall but my first with Royal Caribbean. I have cruised 3 times with Carnival and twice on Disney. My cruise on Royal Caribbean was gifted to me by a wonderful organization. Let’s start with the refreshment package. They charge $29.89 a day (after gratuity) for use of 3 soda dispensing machines, bottled water at the bar or specialty coffee. ...
