Most uncomfortable beds

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

This was our second time on Anthem. I remembered the beds were uncomfortable the first time but this time, I ended up after three nights of sleeping in them, getting horrific back spasms that have continued. When I asked guest services for some sort of help, they were able to put extra bed comforters on top of the mattresses and that helped a little but not much. I went to the spa, desperate for ...

Great trip with minor issues

This was my 14th cruise on Royal and my first time on the Quantum class. Overall, I was very happy with the ship. The staff was friendly and attentive. All the spaces were clean and looked modern and well-kept. The food was average to good and consistent with other Royal cruises. Royal has cut out a number of items over the years we really like. I really enjoyed this class ship. Lots of “inside” ...

Great experience

The ship was great. Plenty of nice places to hang out. Especially Two70 Cafe. The varied food options and locations were nice. Only recommendation would be to have more filler stations at various locations for those tithe the refreshment, soda, and drink packages. Sometimes the lines to refill soda were long due to only being located at Sorrentos or Windjammer. Service was excellent. ...

Rest & Relaxation at its Best

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

This was sold as a Holiday cruise - with New Year's celebrated on the ship. We booked a Junior Suite and were not disappointed! It was comfortable and roomy (and the bathtub and walk-in closet weren't bad either!). This was my first Caribbean sailing - but not my first RCL cruise. I was told the ship and amentities would be more crowded than what I was used to - and that there would be a more ...

The crew staff was great The captain is a rambler and does not till you the truth Food was good but the menu was not extensive changing The ion shore trips are twice the price for the same trip if you pay on board The drinks package was a total rip off as are the bar prices $15 for a beer after a 18% tip and exchange rate. The exchange rate the ship gives you is poor All ...

Awesome food and service, but lacking in entertainment

This was my 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean, two of which were also Voyager Class ships including the Adventure and Mariner of the Seas. We enjoyed both of those ships as well. THE GOOD: The good definitely outweighed the bad when it comes to the Explorer. The itinerary of this cruise was great - we made stops at the ABC islands and Labadee, Haiti. The excursions that we chose were ...

The embarkation process in Miami was quick and easy. We had stayed at the Epic Hotel near the cruise terminal so it was a short cab ride over. Other than its speed and ease there is not much to say about embarkation. That's probably it a good thing. It was smooth! There were parts of this cruise that were exceptional. For example, the Main Dining Room staff (Alan - Head Waiter, Lin - ...

Did a family New Years cruise.

I picked Royal Caribbean because it sailed out of Galveston, TX and the family would be on the boat New Years eve. Quite a few families also had the same idea and there were a lot of young people on the boat. The children in our group had a great time. We had great service and that was the consensus of our all family members . We dined at the early 5:30 pm seating at a round table for 11 ...

First of all let's start by saying that I booked a deluxe balcony suit and spend over $18,000 on a 9 day cruise for my family. To start off, the cruise didn't even include transportation from the Miami airport to the dock. That was an additional charge. Once we boarded we couldn't even go on to our private balcony because it was covered in exhaust soot from the boats exhaust. The bed was hard as a ...

Loved our Radiance of the Seas Cruise

We had a great time on board Radiance of the Seas for 11 nights to the South Pacific islands. We found all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful especially our main dining room staff Veron & Chao. Our room was 7090 mid ship balcony, it was a squeeze for a family of 4 however once we unpacked we managed to find plenty of space in the draws so it didn’t feel too bad in the end. Room was ...
