Family Star Class Vacation

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Traveled with husband, 3 children (9,9,4), both of my sisters, and my parents (with mobility issues) on this our first Star Class trip and our first cruise since Covid. My sisters were each in their own balcony room, my parents had a Jr suite, and we had a 2 bedroom AquaTheater suite. SHIP The Oasis is clean, beautiful, and very big. I was onboard for 8 days, and even on day 7 I was ...

Great Itinerary - best time to cruise ever.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

We loved this itinerary and price so much we booked back to back cruises. Royal Caribbean and the islands didn't disappoint. 12 beaches in 14 days. Some rain but it never lasted for more than a couple of minutes. The food was great and Johnathan ensured we had our usual window seat every night for dinner. Due to low numbers, the Windjammer buffet wasn't open for dinner the first ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We have cats so didn't want to do a back to back but wanted to go to Perfect Cay as I was a travel agent for 25 years years ago, still like finding out about new things. The December 12 night was near perfect, and this was less port oriented, more at sea. In my view, the Cape C is a waste of time, they are never on time and so no time for any excursions, i was meeting a relative so it didn't ...

Somewhat Disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

My friend and I chose this cruise because it sailed out of Baltimore, so we didn't need to fly. This cruise was rescheduled twice. The best thing is that by the time of our cruise, masks were no longer required indoors. Our ship was fully vaccinated. Enchantment is one of their oldest ships and it is in need of refurbishment. Much of the furniture is very dated. We had issues with the sliding ...

'80s Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

This was a Charter Cruise featuring a bunch of 1980s artists (e.g., The Human League, Night Ranger, etc.) and themes. I thought the company that put it all together, ECP, did a great job. The entertainment lineup was really good. It was adult-only cruise. Unfortunately, the ship itself was only so-so. The food was very hit and miss. The food in the MDR was usually good, but the food at The ...

Two seniors (70+) from AZ traveling without our cruise buds this time. Having taken the Oasis in 2009 my partner suggested following up with an Allure cruise to see if it were as enjoyable. Our last RC cruise was almost four years ago. Transport to FLL - With departure on a Saturday this meant a Friday flight to arrive the day before.A flight on a Friday to south Florida means high cost ...

Great Ship

I was very excited for this sailing since it was the first Royal cruise since the restart for me. The ship is beautiful and it reminded me of the Navigator. All of the staff were very friendly. Our cabin was an interior spa and it was very cozy and clean. Not once did I come across the room steward. The Wi-fi however was terrible, I barely had reception. The only place that we ate at ...

Very Nice Cruise

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

I took my son and 2 grand daughters on this weekend cruise. We were in cabins 6292 & 6294. I chose these balcony cabins so that we could open the connecting balconies and they slept 3 people each. I had a feeling my 7 year old grand daughter would want us to have an "all girls" cabin. The cabin was on the side of the ship facing the city of San Pedro and so we had a nice view as we sailed out to ...

First cruise after COVID

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

Embarkation was easy, once you checked in on the app getting through the terminal was a breeze. Once onboard you went to your mustard station to check in, and that was quick and painless. The ship is smaller and does lack all the bells and whistles of the newer ships but those who still like the small ship feel this class is still great. The only issue was very slow service at bars and in the ...
