More Cons than Pros this trip

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

From start to finish, the process to get on and off the boat was painless and pretty fast. The app needs quite a bit of work. There is a lot of conflicting information and it is not the best when it comes to being user friendly. There was a lot of miscommunication between the staff on and off the boat. We took into consideration a possibly new crew, but we had issues with required items that we ...

Big Disappointment

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Embarkation was quick and we were able to get right on the ship. We chose this cruise because we had cruised on this ship twice before and to join friends who had also cruised on this ship in the past. The itinerary was the same as most eastern Caribbean cruises but docked at San Juan at 2:00PM which suited us since we like to go for cappiccino coffee. The crew that we encountered were awesome! ...

Worst of 5 cruises on the Allure and worst cruise ever on Royal Caribbean out of 30.

There were several issues, none of which were resolved even after talking with the manager. The bathroom door was broken but never got fixed. The place to put your shampoo and conditioner was broken and never got fixed. Got unlimited specialty dining and after the second burnt steak at Chops Grille, I gave up. Who ever is running the sound for the Ice Games show needs to turn the sound ...

Great cruise director, but no covid policy enforcement

Love that RC is now on the west coast, so much closer to home. Booked as a mother daughter trip for her graduation. Upgraded as a surprise to a JS, even though not many perks apply to this level ship. Was not able to check in priority with the suites, was sent to main line, so one perk not honored. Check in guy said well this is close enough.Well that was a perk but ok. Once onboard you can tell ...

This was our first cruise on a Voyage class ship, though our 11th on a RCL ship. We enjoyed the cruise a lot, it felt so short just because we're used to 7-day cruises. It was weird because the ship was only 60-70% at capacity, so it felt very empty. The environs: The promenade was good. It was still pretty loud with the opening to the casino below, and the pub and other bars pretty open to ...

Perfect Getaway out of Galveston

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

My mom and I chose this cruise out of Galveston for 3 main reasons: convenient port location (close to home), price, and to try out Royal Caribbean for the first time. Overall, it was a lovely cruise. We experienced incredible service from the dining staff, bartenders, room stewards etc. We made great friends in the pool and casino. The ship was clean and had plenty of space. Our balcony cabin ...

Nice 5 night cruise

Just returned from 5 nights onboard Adventure of the Seas out of Galveston. I arrived at the pier about 35 minutes early because I was parking in a new parking location. It was right next to the terminal and a great location. They let us into line a little early and the health screening part took about 5 minutes, security another 5 and about 3 minutes to check in with Royal ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

I chose this cruise because it fit perfectly within my spring break. We’ve never done only a four day cruise so that was new to us. Four days including embankment day. Three ports, no sea days. Grand Bahamas/Freeport, Coco Cay, Nassau. Super reasonably priced. Definitely got more than my money’s worth. They added grand Bahamas the day before sailing, so the ship had activities as if it were a sea ...

I was on the Mariner for a spring break cruise 4-19-2022. It was our first cruise since 2019 having cruised 14 times previously on NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. This was our second cruise from Port Canaveral. We drove to the port and parked there which was extremely easy and cost $85 for the 4 days. I will say one of the benefits of what we learned in COVID is the embarkation process. It was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Vision of the Seas

Crew was outstanding and tried very hard to be accommodating. Many of staff in windjammer and dining rooms were very helpful and attentive. However, feel that upper management made terrible choices as regards food choices and it felt like RCI didn't care that there was essentially no food option for lunch after 3pm or after 8pm other than park cafe. RCI should be embarrassed to call that an ...
