We wanted to try an oasis class ship and now we are in love! The Central Park and our balcony overlooking it was fabulous. All the shows were spectacular. The food and service was wonderful. We did the chefs table and it was so so good! 150 central was a great specialty restaurant also. The fried cheesecake was so tasty! There was so much to see and do and the bars were great with lots of tasty ...
We have been on many lines for many years (1994 first cruise on Sovereign) Celebrity and RCCL have been our favorites. We missed cruising tremendously so booked several when things reopened. Oct 2021 Allure, Nov 2021 Independence and just now finished a 4 night on Oasis. You can look up my review on Allure and see what a great time we had. Things on this trip, not so much. We have a Princess ...
Royal Caribbean has been our go to cruise line for a long time. (We just turned Emerald).
We were ready to get out on the ocean once again because we disconnect and really relax. It is a great vacation until illness hits. As we boarded on April 24, Sunday we were fine for that day as well as April 25. On the 26th we went up to Windjammer for late lunch and within an hour Tom started to get ...
I am a 66 year old man with over a dozen cruises under my belt. This was my 4th on RCCL to go with 9 on other companies, mostly Carnival.
Although this review will be mostly critical, let me say I am not dissatisfied enough to avoid RCCL in the future, I look at the problems that I will detail as aberrations, and not the usual way that RCCL conducts business. Even with the issues I still had a ...
This cruise had the following itinerary: Depart Port Canaveral, two ocean days, one day in St Maarten, one day in St Thomas USVI, another ocean day, one day in Coco Cay, returning to Port Canaveral the following morning.
We have done several Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. The cruise was fun but not great, especially after two years cooped up due to COVID. This cruise was our second time ...
This was a birthday cruise celebration for both my husband and I,
We choose to do the RoyalUP and upgraded to a grand suite.
Very disappointed with the lack of not having the usual
greeting at the port or the nice welcoming extras in the cabin for suite guest.
As we were expecting it since we paid extra for a suite.
We have done close to 40 cruises over the years, mainly with Royal ...
We just returned from B2B 8-day cruises on the Allure. We have cruised on the Allure in the past.
Embarkation went very smoothly.
Once on board we headed to Deck 15 to enjoy the Solarium area until our cabin was ready. This is how we start every cruise on an Oasis Class ship. Our cabin, a Balcony on Deck 8 was good, not great, I'll talk more about that below.
Entertainment was good - ...
Having been on cruises on more than one occasion including the Jewel of the Seas a few years ago, I have enough experience to know and appreciate what a good cruise is like. The ‘shows’ on Voyager of the Seas, were practically non-existent, compared to previous cruises. The ‘entertainment’, in most cases, ran for 30 – 45 minutes and, whilst entertaining, they were a poor relation to previous ...
We chose to take this cruise because it left from New Jersey (a port we could drive to) and visited Coco Cay. Embarkation was simple as long as you arrived at your allotted time and NOT EARLY. Otherwise you had to wait in line. We got right in and quickly through the boarding process. The expedite children under 12 so that made it even easier for us.
Anthem is a great cool weather ship. ...
This was my first post-COVID cruise. Please be warned that masks are not required for those that are fully vaccinated, however, I wore my mask by choice. Masks are optional at Royal Caribbean private islands.
The worst was Embarkation at Bayonne. While I understand the process was due to COVID, we had to wait 2 hours in the freezing cold, which we weren't warned about. No refreshments were ...
