I chose this cruise to enjoy being on the islands with my family ! We made the best of it but unfortunately how we were treated on the cruise was not pleasant … my family was looked at funny being asked so many questions and even had an older woman saying to not go back on the ship as we we were in line and very disgruntled for no apparent reason . We were nice to everyone but i don’t get why we ...

CRUISE FROM HELL

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Staff Hospitality: The staff's disinterest and lack of engagement were palpable throughout the trip, resulting in a disconnected and uninviting atmosphere. Cleanliness of Facilities: Hygiene was a significant concern as the cleanliness across the ship's facilities left much to be desired. It was evident that maintenance wasn't a priority, impacting the overall comfort and enjoyment of the ...

Indifferent and disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

To start off, this ship is old and should be retired. I heard the ship creak like it wasn't going to make it the entire trip. Most staff encountered was ok but not very pleasant. My stateroom attendant Bryan was pretty nice but in 11 days I only received 2 towel animals which was disappointing. He forgot several items and I had to continually call for items missed. I really enjoyed hanging with ...

This cruise line staff treats its guest like trash

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

I come from a large family, and from the time we entered the ship we were treated like garbage. The guests services were not helpful an was very dismissive. We were questioned all the time of how were we all able to afford to come as a family. The main dining service was ok, but the food was terrible an at most times cold. The windjammer had a lack of non pork options. We were constantly lied to ...

We've been a fan of Grandeur of the Seas for many years and chose this cruise for a return to one of our favorite ships and for its different itinerary. Even though Grandeur is scheduled for a dry dock late March 2024 this ship is in great condition. We were so happy with the ship we booked another cruise on her again also before dry dock. The things which impressed me the most with Grandeur is ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

We chose this short cruise because we really enjoy this size of ship. We sailed on Radiance when she was brand new, and again some years ago. Despite the ships age, it is very well maintained and kept up so well. We were impressed at how good it looked both inside and out. The attention to cleaning was evident everywhere. The staff was so friendly and helpful at every turn. We chose an outside ...

We are a senior couple in our late 70s who have mostly cruised Celebrity over the past years. Have also cruised HAL, and earlier Princess, NCL and Carnival. we are Elite Plus on Celebrity. this year we decided to try RCL Anthem of Seas as we could sail from Bayonne NJ and also have a lot of celebrity perks that carry over RCL. Have never been on a boat this large or with so many people . ...

My family and I had a great experience on Anthem of the Seas. Everything went so smoothly. The check in process was a breeze and boarding the ship went incredibly fast. The experience was the same when we departed. I didn’t expect it to be that easy! We had a wonderful stateroom attendant as well as waiters in the main dining area. The food was so wonderful and there are so many options!! One of ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

User Avatar

Adventure is showing its age some but still maintained nicely. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I did opt to sign up for the Key as it is slightly more than the Internet package so it’s worth getting for me but I would think twice for a family or couple. The Key lunch on the ship was definitely sub par so I would’ve rather have booked the Chops lunch directly. The part that was very ...
