I chose this cruise for nostalgic reasons. I cruised with my husband and 3 teenagers. The kids had a great time with lots of things to do in the evenings. The ship itself was impressive, the food was good and the entertainment was spectacular. IN THE DINING ROOM OUR ATTENDANTS HAD NO PROBLEM CHANGING DISHES FOR MY VEGETARIAN DAUGHTER We organized our own visit to the vatican which was great ...

We chose Freedom of the Seas because that's the ship that was available for our dates. It wasn't my first choice as I have previously cruised on the newer Oasis of the Seas and last year cruised on its sister ship Independence of the Seas. Don't let reviews fool you when you read cabins have been renovated. Yes, they've added a few new cabins but most are still in need of renovations. We ...

Overall, we had a fantastic time on our vacation! It was our first time cruising in many years and our first time on Royal Caribbean. We chose this ship because of the great itinerary that allowed us the opportunity to see a lot of places. I was traveling with my husband, parents and younger brother (ages 24 – 55). I am going to start with overall comments about the ship and then a VERY detailed ...

My wife and I enjoyed our first cruise to the MAXIMUM. What i can say as an overall experience is (WoW). Everything was perfect and up to the expectations and sometimes even more. The ship is built in 2006 but refurbished in 2015 which let you feel like a brand new ship. We've booked a cabin with a balcony and it was great cabin with the great view, i can rate the Cabin facility as 4 stars hotel. ...

Embarkation was a little frantic and windjammer was a nightmare when we first boarded which was not an ideal start. Food and drink overall was very good (too good!) We were let down by our shore excursions though. We put a lot of thought and consideration into choosing them and booked well ahead of time to find two out of three of our excursions were cancelled after we boarded. In future we ...

Last year we travelled on the Navigator of the seas, that had about 3600 passengers This boat was smaller and therefore less people about 1000 less all approx figures The boat was average for a boat about 15 years old back then would of been great now average. The windjammer food was average not great but ok, also too small seating area during breakfast / dining it was hard to find a table. ...

30th anniversary cruise. Items ordered for special occasion did. It show up on time (instead of a bottle of wine every 3 days 2 were in room when we boarded) so much for continual surprises that were planned. Shore excursion to Pompeii was a mess! The Royal representative who was with us said it was the worse guide he had ever seen. He yelled at several of us, lost more than half the group on ...

The transfer from the airport to the ship didn't go well. RCCL had provided taxis, all the drivers were not waiting for us so we had to search for the missing one, he was sat in his car listening to his radio! The drive was scary, very fast and in my view dangerous. The check in was smooth and easy, no problems at all. This was our 5th sailing on Brilliance and I am sad to say it is ...
