Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Love the friendliness of the crew, fantastic Captain with a great sense of humor! Itinerary was great. I did a B2B Canada/New England followed by Bermuda. When you go to the Centrum bar look up Madagascar, best bar tender in the fleet. Food was mainly good, some meals could be improved upon. Deck 4 is the best deck in my opinion, right off the Centrum, close to dining room and ...

New England and Canada

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

My wife and I chose this cruise mainly because of the departure port, Baltimore. We drove to the port for an effortless departure. We had also heard that New England and Canada was a great place to visit by ship. We enjoyed our dining experiences very much. The Great Gatsby dining room menu was varied and interesting. Our waiters, Desmond and Cyrus were superb and so helpful. The Windjammer buffet ...

Welcome back, friends & family. That's how I feel every time I cruise on Royal Caribbean. This trip to New England and Canada was outstanding in every aspect except two days of rocky seas, but Mother Nature had her own mind. We had port visits in Boston, Bar Harbor, Portland, Saint John and Halifax. Yes, we have been to each of those ports on previous cruises but I must say that my favorite port ...

OWNERS SUITE 8002 IS FABULOUS!

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

OWNERS SUITE 8002 was wonderful! Cabin steward Yudi was excellent. RCCL, however is very lax on its no smoking policyl. People on balcony directly under us smoked and later after we complained, they retaliated apparetly by throwing cigarette butts AND a plastic bottle half-filled with water and packed with cigarette butts up onto our balcony and RCCL did NOTHING. Also woman in suite 8004 next ...

My Best Friend actually choose this cruise for her birthday. All I can say is this was not an enjoyable experience. The ship rocked constantly for almost 24hrs.Could not sleep so uncomfortable. So happy I did not get the drink package. Awful experience, sick for 2 days. Seeing people so sick throwing up all over the place is not how I envisioned my vacation.I will no longer sail again. Overall ...

We chose this cruise as it sailed out of Baltimore, MD where my boyfriend has family. So we got a cruise and chance to visit! Cabin was immaculate and the attendant was fantastic! Always came back to a clean room no matter how many time we came and went! Windjammer was o.k. but I was not pleased with the vegetable selections. Seemed every "vegetable" dish was heavily laden with onions. ...

This was the worst vacation ever. The rooms are barely big enough to fit 2 even though its supposed to be a 4 person room. Then there was nothing to do!. Maybe I would've had fun if every event wasn't designed to sell me stuff (News Flash: A watch sale is not an event!) And all the other events were designed for old people (Adult coloring? Really?!?! I could do that at home!) The event coordinator ...

Weather not the cruise line's fault

We cruise on Grandeur every Sept. Weather was an issue this time, but we were prepared for the rough seas with the patch. Our goal is relaxation. If you want more options choose one of the larger ships. The photo staff is lawns. problem. I no longer buy any of the photos as a result. Spa staff is pushy to get you to buy product thereby ruining the calming affect of any service. ...

This was our first ever cruise and it was chosen because of the Bermuda destination and Baltimore port. Almost the entire cruise travel was a game of cat and mouse with hurricanes - with the passengers - and crew, suffering as a result. Travel to and from Bermuda provided limited time for enjoyment of on-deck activities - except sitting - and the deck access was limited on more than one day ...

Chose this cruise for destination and size of ship.(small). Bermuda is gorgeous. Took the Amtrak from Lynchburg to Baltimore. Recommend Business Class on train. We sat at a table in facing seats and had lots of conversation on the train. Train has internet, outlets, comfortable seats and good food. Stayed overnight at Embassy Suites by Hilton near airport. Suite and hotel were excellent. ...
