The Grandeur is known as the happy ship for very good reason. I never experienced a cruise with such happy and friendly crew members. Individualized attention, great entertainment and service beyond my expectations. The food was excellent, the menu has been updated. Nice selections, less than before though. Ate in the dining rooom every morning for breakfast instead of Windjammer. Really enjoyed ...
We choose this cruise due to the close proximity we are to the Baltimore port.
We have been on Lady Grandeur 8 times already and it feels like going home when we board.
Though the ship is older it remains in good shape and is constantly maintained by RCI
Our cabin was 4574 and so close to everything the ship offers. The only draw back is that if you don't have earplugs, don't book this ...
Close to Baltimore and I didn't have to fly. The embarking and disembarking was fantastic! Very easy and went quick. That being said, our stateroom attendant was fantastic! Dining was great. The ship seems to host an elderly crowd but that was fine since no one was belligerent, tried to cut in lines or was snarky. Entertainment on this ship wasn't the best but if you're younger, I think it would ...
I absolutely love this ship! It's small, which provides a level of intimacy that you don't get on the big ships. You bond with the crew and they become family. They have always bent over backwards to make our vacations the best ever! Remember though, you get what you give. If you treat them with respect and and kind you will get so much more than the norm!
Leaving from the port of ...
We were looking for a relaxing vacation, and 12 nights aboard Grandeur of the Seas was perfect. The crew is the friendliest in the fleet!
Cruise Maryland is a few hours from our home so we didn't have to fly. The staff at the port were friendly and efficient. We dropped off our luggage, and parked within a very short walk to the terminal. We were on the ship within 30 minutes of our arrival ...
Chose this cruise because we live only about one hour drive from Port of Baltimore and it’s so easy to get there. No airfare needed! Embarking is a breeze. This was our fourth Royal Caribbean cruise. (2 other prior cruises with HAL and Carnival) My husband and I cruised with our two children (6&8) and our friends who are new to cruises and brought their two children (7&9).
This was our second ...
My wife and I had an awesome trip and were treated so well from everyone on this ship. The food and service were outstanding. There was only one day out and one day back that had some rough seas, but all in all it was Smooth Sailing for sure.
The Grandeur is an older ship and you can see this in the staterooms and some of the older components or lack of new features on the ship, but the people ...
We loved this boat. The staff are amazing. The food is great. The dining room service and buffet service are fantastic. The boat is clean, the rooms are clean. There are many activities. On the 3 ship days, you don't even notice bc you have so many activities to participate in. We really enjoyed this cruise and it's great value. The boat seems small, but it's the perfect size if you have ...
We chose this cruise because it was a 12 day and it was economical to cruise out of Baltimore. We stayed overnight the evening before the cruise at the Best Western on O'Donnell street. It was a great deal because they provide transportation to the port and back and parking for the length of the cruise. The shuttle service that the hotel uses (KD Elite Transportation is excellent.
When we ...
we chose this cruise , as we have traveled with rccl before , but since our last one ( 4 years ago ) their standards seem to have dropped ! , mainly in the dining experience , they are too quick to try and sell speciality restaurant dining , the meals were not presented well , very little variation in vegetables
Way too much emphasis put on the selling of art / diamonds when at ports of ...
