First, this is my first cruise because I was sure I would hate the crowds, buffets etc. Now I love cruises. We had room 7582 which was a family spacious view (a window, no balcony). It was perfect. Small and dated (yes for my hotel standards) but really perfectly great for a family of 4. The window views were stunning, and it was HOT so I never would have opened a balcony anyway. I got to see the ...

Wanted to see as many countries with major stops. This 12 day cruise hit them all. Ship was great and service was as expected from Royal. First time in an inside cabin and was a bit worried that it would not work for this length of time. We were very surprised as it was enough room even had small couch and did not feel cramped. Going to all these capitals and being in Russia was terrific. Did the ...

We have been on one other cruise with RCI (Explorer of the seas) and chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary , but also because we had a good experience previously with RC and lastly because the ship is slightly smaller. The booking process went well and communication pre cruise was very good. We booked flights and an overnight stay in Copenhagen as part of the package. The hotel in ...

This was my second time on a Baltic Cruise and my 2nd time to all ports of call. Even though not new, I really enjoyed this cruise. It was my first time on this ship and only my third time with Royal Caribbean. As with any cruise there were some negatives. Primarily on the up selling and nickel and dime game RC has become. But otherwise I enjoyed the trip very much. Copenhagen is an easy port ...

We are a family of four, two adults and two children (15 & 10) from the UK. We have sailed twice before with RCCL and both times on Oasis of the Seas from Port Canaveral. This was our first-time cruising from Southampton and first time on Independence of the Seas. The itinerary was an 8-night cruise to the Norwegian Fjords visiting Bergen, Geiranger, Alesund, Skjolden and Stavanger. We choses this ...

My sister chose it and it was my first real cruise so everything was new and exciting. I particularly appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the food was much better than I expected. Service in the restaurant was very good - on one occasion we told our waiters, LEO and VANISHA that we wanted to finIsh quickly to see a show and they served us at breakneck speed. Nothing was ...

Wanted to see several stops in the Mediterranean and enjoy some relaxing time aboard a cruise boat...the stops were there, but the excursions were un-remarkable and rushed/crowded and there never was any possibility of relaxation due to the non-stop "activities" in the Centrum that were quite loud, the staterooms were cramped and dated, and due to the frustration caused by limited dining options ...

Our arrival and departure flights from Venice prevented us from exploring the city but we did see some amazing sights as the ship departed on day one. RC have such a slick operation with someone there to guide you through every part of embarkation and disembarkation. Their enthusiasm, as with all staff is commendable. The ship itself was smaller than our last cruise (Navigator) but that ...
