Royal Caribbean unrecognizable, out 10th and maybe last cruise on RCI

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

We booked this cruise 18 month prior to celebrate big Birthday, hoping that by Dec 2021 the world would be done with covid. Unfortunately, covid is still rampant and RCI did not do much to prevent spread of infection on their ship. They should have kept the 50% capacity and enforce mask wearing and distancing, instead they cut activities and left people to fend for themselves. There were close to ...

We boarded the Odyssey of the Seas on December 12, 2021 in Port Everglades at terminal 18, sailed for two weeks on back- to- back cruises and disembarked on December 26, 2021. The ship was beautiful, filled with modern technology, art work and new venues. The crew were excellent, professional and at the tops of their professions. The covid protocols were extensive and enforced. We were on board ...

This was the largest ship we’ve ever been on. It didn’t feel overwhelming at all. We chose it for price and itinerary (CoCoCay). The ship was clean. Embarking and debarking were super easy. Our steward and MDR staff were excellent. The CD and. Captain were very engaging. The food was good. Some like the lamb shank, cod and beef entrees were excellent. There is no social distancing in MDR or ...

Great Cruise, but not so perfect day

First cruise for my wife and me since the pandemic started. Spent the night Saturday in Port Canaveral before boarding the ship on Sunday. Boarding the ship was simple and efficient. We never slowed down and had very little wait from the time we parked to boarding the ship. Embarkation could not have been easier. Had our covid tests, boarding pass and passports along with the health forms ...

We originally booked this cruise for the inaugural cruise almost 2 years ago. The itinerary was changed by RCCL because of Covid, no fault of the cruise line. The ship is new, this was their third cruise for this ship so everything was clean and modern. However since this was a newly assembled crew there was quite a bit of confusion as they gather their sea legs on this new ship. Embarkation was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I find that all 4 Oasis class ships are mostly cookie cutter copies with minor differences. My favorite ships to cruise on. I've been on the Oasis a few times, and love it, except for their Broadway show, Cats. They would do better with something more lively, like Jersey Boys. I cruised the Symphony just the month before, and found the staff there more congenial. The only glitch I had on the ...

(Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus with 30+ cruises on RCL) We booked this cruise 6 days before the sail date of 11 December, 2021. Booked a large balcony cabin and very surprised to find one available and the reasonable price so close to departure Once on board it became obvious why. They were excited to get 4200 people, the highest number since the shutdown, on board a ship with a capacity of ...

I rely almost 100% on reviews for every trip I take, so I'm paying it forward by giving as concise a review of this cruise that I can for others. We didn't choose this cruise, the couple we sailed with did. We didn't think we'd like a ship this massive, but we were pleasantly surprised. Never felt crowded, even with over 4K aboard. Never had to wait for an elevator and rarely had to wait in ...

Long time cruiser here. Sailed on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and Holland America. However, this is my first time to be on a ship like this and wow! I was just blown away daily by how amazing it was. Just to walk around on this amazing vessel was an experience. The promenade feels more like a shopping mall than a ship, and Central Park is just like nothing else you have ever seen on a ...
