Nice ship, fun time, but a lot of issues too

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

We went on Freedom OTS for a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas - my first post-COVID cruise. The public spaces on the ship are beautiful. The dining room, Windjammer, sun decks, etc. are all recently renovated and very visually appealing and clean. I am not sure if it was because of COVID capacity, time of year, or the design of the ship, but there was always lots of space in public spaces. 4/5 of the ...

Our First Cruise Was a Hit

We chose a short cruise to test out cruising for the first time. We weren't sure if it was the right kind of vacation for us or not. Two other couples joined us, and we all had a fantastic time. The destination wasn't super important to us, but we enjoyed both stops. I was worried that Coco Cay would be too run over with kids, but we found a cozy spot at Chill Island to enjoy the beach and sun, ...

Nice ship

I enjoyed this ship. It is a good size and was only half full, so there was plenty of room for everyone. I have never seen the Promenade so empty! We had a balcony cabin that was clean and comfortable. Our steward, Alvi, did a wonderful job taking care of us! The food was good but predictable. We thoroughly enjoyed Izumi hibatchi, however. We had fun at the trivia games at the Schooner Bar and ...

A perfect week onboard this beautiful ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

Having cruised on Oasis, Allure and Harmony I was eager to finally get to sail onboard Symphony of the Seas. I had purchased the at home test kits as a back up, just in case our two tests at Walgreens and CVS didn't come back in time. I am so happy I did because neither came back until one and two days after we had sailed. I would not recommend CVS or Walgreen's right now, we were even told at ...

Symphony of the Seas~Western Caribbean January 29-February 5, 2022 Hubby had seen a video of this ship on YouTube in 2020 and was hooked. The whole purpose of this cruise was to experience Symphony. The last RCI ship we were on was Vision OTS for a Baltic cruise. We had never been on an Oasis class vessel. This was our 16th cruise and we had been to all the islands except Honduras ...

We did 5 weeks cruise in Dec 2021 and Jan 2022, 2 weeks on Celebrity Silhouette, 2 weeks on HAL Rotterdam and 1 week on Oasis, the last 2 cruises were back to back. We decided to cruise on the Oasis for 3 reasons,,,, the beauty of the shows, the boat being at 1/3 full, and the fact that we were already in Florida and no need to fly again from Montreal. Of course the shows are among the best on ...

Beautiful state rooms, great crew but not perfect

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

This cruise was a six day out of Port Canaveral. Original Itinerary had stops in Coco Cay, Grand Cayman and Costa de Maya. Due to the on going pandemic Grand Carmen was changed to Cozumel. I want to give RCI kudos for getting back to sailing while maintaining a safe as possible experience without being overly restrictive. Masks were required anywhere indoor unless actively eating or drinking. ...

Royal Caribbean is Failing

I'm a diamond plus loyalty member, with over 300 cruise nights with the line. What a complete disappointment Royal Caribbean has become. From the booking stage, we had numerous cruises cancel throughout COVID--- fine thats understandable, but they take the cancelled cruise credits and they divide them up by names on the reservation. So if you broke up with your significant other, had a ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

I booked this cruise last minute as the price was right. I was excited to learn once we got onboard that there were only 1100 guests onboard. The ship constantly felt empty. Even at normally busy times. There was never a wait for elevators and it was always easy to find a seat in any venue. I felt a little bad for the crew that this sailing was so empty. This ship itself looked fantastic. ...
