Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

We sailed on the Oasis in July 2018--were very impressed. We liked the big ship atmosphere & food-service. Had booked a 2020 trip on Harmony, but COVID caused the trips to be cancelled, so this trip was a make-up for that one. I completed all documents I could on line before sailing. Wife completed the remainder on her Royal App. This made check-in very quick. Only 3500 pass . on ship ...

We were very excited to try out a large ship and Royal Caribbean, having only been on Carnival in the past. I can't believe how shocked we were with how much further ahead in service, amenities, and overall quality this ship was to our previous Carnival cruises. This made my fifth cruise overall, so I felt confident in comparing the two against each other on the first impressions and knowing what ...

We chose this cruise because it was supposed to be this amazing experience but we did have a lot of trouble with a big group in my opinion royal Caribbean does not handle big groups very well Especially if it’s a mixed group of handicapped, elderly, and minors from 6 months-17. We had a group of 11 and we were celebrating five generations. This was a very expensive trip for me I worked Tons of ...

I booked this trip whilst onboard Jewel OS in November. My hubby was working so this was a solo trip. Lovely cabin 7022 with oversized balcony - decent location. I love this ship and her sisters, perfect size and not popular with kids! The ship was spotless and in excellent shape (obviously six weeks offline were put to good use). I had a good time but there were a few differences than last ...

This is a cruise “critic” board. That said, First let me say I tell it like it is and don’t sugar coat nothing, we’re nearing diamond plus so this isn’t our first rodeo, second let me say that we’ve been on anthem before and our first time on Anthem was so much better. Let me start with the pros: Owners suite 12634 Lovely room, spacious and good location. (other than space not worth 8k) ...

I always sail Royal Caribbean as a loyalist. It was my Birthday and my neighbor had never cruised before so my hubby booked us on this trip. We had a marvelous time. Food was great and even though we stayed on board the ship it was a truly relaxing trip and we both really enjoyed our time on the ship. Cocktails were awesome by the bartenders at the Pool Bar and Scooner lounges. I ...

Service and standards are lacking, ship needs to TLC

5th and possibly last time on a Royal Caribbean Ship. Service has been downhill for a while now and its starting to show. Embarkation: While this is not a reelection on Royal's Staff, the personnel at Port Canaveral (The Port Employees not Royal's) started the vacation off in a bad way. They were rude, dismissive and held us up from entering the terminal for over 45 min. We presented the ...

Selected this Cruise sailing date because it was Valentines Day and over my Birthday. Selected a Balcony room on the 7th Deck. Room was perfect for what we wanted. First Cruise, First Balcony room, and from here forward will always book a Balcony at this Room Class. Our Room attendant was awesome. We loved the Formal Dining and our Servers were exceptional. Food in main dining was good, ...

I am trying to get someone to address the lack of vegetarian food options. I had 3 night dinning package and 4 at coastal kitchen. Very limited options for vegetarian and special requests could not be accommodated even with advance notice . Had one special dish the chef at coastal prepared that was nice. Buffet at lunch had salad. The server told me pasta was vegetarian, but it had pork. ...

13Feb – 20Feb 2022 Background: My husband and I are from Indiana, ages 43 and 44; no children and we currently reside in Charlotte, NC. I have been on 10 cruises, and he’s been on 6. We’ve sailed with Celebrity, Carnival, Princess, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Our most recent cruise was in February of 2020. The goal of this cruise was just to relax so we had nothing booked in any ...
