This ship doesn't leave you feeling very Harmonious

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

If your idea of a perfect vacation is being around 6,000 people including hoards of unsupervised children, drunk teenagers in the adults only areas, loud music blaring, no place of respite, cancelled or unbookable reservations for lackluster entertainment, an overworked staff, overcrowded bars, and midocore to disgusting food this may be your scene... However, this was not our idea of the big ...

First, for some perspective, here’s a brief summary of my cruising experiences: • 30 cruises total, including this one. Seven on RCCL. • Have cruised to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Alaska, Mexican Riviera, North Atlantic, Bermuda, and St Lawrence River/New England. • Cruise durations ranged from 3 to 19 days. • Food variety, quality, and service are of primary importance. ...

Uncomfortably Crowded

In today's economic climate, things will change. It was inevitable that cruise lines will try to make up for lost time by booking as many people as possible. However, if you cruised anything in the past and observed the insane crowds it just became uncomfortable to do even the most menial things on this ship. Even trivia games were full capacity. Sure, over time it was ok to find some ...

I just wanted to give an AMAZING review to my housekeeping personal, Olman! He was really a gem! Made us feel at home with our bed always made. Fresh towels everyday. Room would always have a little surprise when we got back too. It was exceptional service and he was a true gentleman. Overall the staff on the ship was very helpful, attentive, tried to have things run as smooth as possible. My ...

This is my second time on a Royal ship out of Miami, the past was the Mariner of the Seas. I am NOT a fan of Miami at all. Most of my sailings have been Disney out of P.C. Embarkation -was probably the smoothest I have experienced to date of any cruise line and port. My daughter was asked no less than 5 times if she was fully Vaccinated. Activities- there is never a shortage of these on ...

AMAZING FIRST ROYAL CRUISE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Independence of the Seas

I usually cruise with Disney and Celebrity but decided to give Royal a try. I did a 4 night cruise which I felt was a perfect amount of time for a first time Royal cruiser. This was very much so a booze cruise so be aware if you’re not a drinker…people can get pretty crazy onboard. We were past capacity (I asked a crew member and they said 4,590 guests were onboard)…the pools and lido deck were ...

Great service, super crowded - we all caught COVID

This is our first cruise post pandemic. Our family of four managed to never get COVID these past couple of years…but the cruise did us in. Our throats felt sore during the car ride home, and 24 hours after that, the more severe symptoms kicked in. I did report it to the RCCL post cruise help desk just in case they’re keeping track. Ship was very crowded…always lines in the promenade and buffet. ...

Absolutely Brilliant First Cruise

In full disclosure, this was my first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to other than other land-based vacations. I quite literally cannot adequately express how amazing this experience and cruise was. From the room to the crew to the food to the activities it was an amazing trip. PROS: 1. The crew was consistently amazing. Friendly, helpful, and always attentive. 2. I had an ...

A/c in the cabinets not working , we could sleep comfortly, we were hot. The also the cooler did not keep our water cold, also under the bed it was clean, they just clean around it. Actvities on the ship were boring, specialty the comedy shows. Pool activities were fun. STAFF ON THE SHIP VERY GOOD The ship it kind of old, and the pools were super small. Our perfect day in coco cay was ...

A wonderful return to cruising with a large group

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We were a group of 9 (two families + two singles) who chose this cruise as a "splurge" for a group vacation this year. I’ll preface by saying this was our first trip on an Oasis class ship, so we did have that “WOW” factor added to our experience. EMBARKATION: An absolute breeze. We arrived about 45 minutes early but they still allowed us right on. We had an 8 year old (vaxxed) so we went ...
