As a group of friends we always try to book a January vacation and this did not disappoint, we were VERY lucky with the weather which added to the enjoyment.
I had read reviews stating that Liberty was showing her ‘age’ which I found bizarre as she’s really not that old at all! Sure enough we saw nothing that indicated any lack of attention or repair - except the large screen poolside which ...
Caught Covid on Odyssey of the Seas New Year's 2022 Cruise 12/20/22 to 1/8/23
My husband and I got Covid for the first time ever after getting off of the Odyssey of the Seas 9 day New Year's Cruise on 1/08/23.Husband took sick later that day and I got sick two days later. Overall, we took many precautions. We wore a mask everywhere on the ship.
We also bought the Ultimate Dining Package ( ...
We were booked on this ship previously but had to cancel due to Covid 19. When things got back to normal, we started looking to decide on which ship to sail on and when. We booked and cruised on two different ships and found the Odyssey superb. Once on board you get a feeling of joy and seeing the smiling faces of staff/crew really enhances the mood.
This is the most beautiful ship I ...
My DW and I cruise out of Cape Liberty the majority of the time because of the ease in getting to the port. We have had a couple of cruises cancelled due to Covid, so this was our first cruise since our Celebrity Equinox sailing three years ago. We love the Anthem, having sailed her four times before. We come from the Catskill mountains, and use Yankee Trails Cruise Express. From the time we meet ...
CRUISE REVIEW: RCCL – Anthem of the Seas
CRUISE DATES – December 26th, 2022– January 2nd, 2023
This was my 10th overall cruise. It was my 5th time on RCCL. I travelled with my wife, our two young children (ages 4 and 10). My parents (both in their 70’s). My sister, her husband, my brother, his wife and all of their children (Nieces and Nephews ages range from 13-18). All together it was 14 ...
We have sailed on RC at least 20 times and are Diamond Status, so we are very familiar with their ships. We were excited to go on this cruise for our Winter Break. First the pros....unloading, parking and boarding the ship were seamless, as was disembarking. While the ship is very nice, they really cheap out in sooo many categories! First and foremost, it really did not seem like they cared ...
It was a gift from my daughter and son in law. My wife and I were looking forward to dressing up for formal nights. The first night my family wasn’t impressed at all with the Silk main dinning rooms food or atmosphere. It was very cramped at dinner and disorganized. We were almost done with dinner before we could get a refill on our drinks. It wasn’t what it used to be like on my last cruise. The ...
Let me start by saying I gave a two star rating ONLY because we had a safe cruise. Now for my review, me and my family (around 20 of us) choose this cruise because we wanted to do a holiday cruise since our children are now older. All of us are experienced cruisers to include our children, as such we know what to expect during a cruise. Well, this cruise was problematic from the first day we ...
We just came off the Holiday cruise sailing. Ports were Labadee, Puerto Plata, San Juan and Coco Cay. We are Diamond members with lots off RCL experience.
This is our first time on this class of ship. Lots to do and some very different venues. Did iFly and Northstar and both were super cool. Ship is beautiful and in great shape but VERY over crowded. Passenger to space ratio is the worst ...
This cruise had ship issues (freezing cold cabins and common areas) at the beginning of the cruise (first day and 1/2). The cruise staff did not communicate, and cruisers found out there was an issue when making calls to maintenance. One call we made to maintenance went unheeded although they promised to send someone to our cabin. We had 3 cabins and Royal provided credits two of our cabins at ...
