We chose Royal Caribbean as a friend was an experienced cruiser and highly recommended the line. I was worried about sea sickness so we chose to go along the coastline to Queensland - Brisbane, Willis Island and Airlie Beach. I didn't need to worry. Absolutely no sea sickness a very smooth trip. Embarkation took about 45mins. Disembarkation was even quicker. Very well organised. We had a room with ...

Chose this cruise for location and activities on board. All expectations were met and cannot fault the staff or food. Will be sailing with Royal Caribbean again. Highly recommend the drinks package. Was a great opportunity to try new drinks without the fear of a huge bill. Was made to feel, Nothing was to much trouble, from all staff, regardless of the hour. Range of things to do though ...

Dates were convenient and needed to take a break to relax with friends and family. The cabin and waiter staff were exceptional. Particularly Shaien, Bayu and his assistant waiter Yuting had been superb dining servers. House keeping/Cabin crew Selty was incredibly kind and helpful. It was such an relaxing expierience and these servers in particular along with all the crew in general involved really ...

Family first time cruisers, was a bit overwhelming to begin with with the boat at max capacity and all were excited. Settled in well with a good mix of age groups, food in windjammers was great with variety each day, i found the dining room food a little bland and generic. Izumi was amazing the chef's signature sushi rolls to die for! We had deluxe beverage packages which were definitely worth it ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

First and foremost for Americans - a Visa is needed for Australia (but not New Zealand). This cruise was for my husband and myself, who are both in our 60s and have cruised probably 15 times on all different lines. Regarding Radiance of the Seas, the ship has definitely seen better days. We felt the maintenance could have been better. The railing on our balcony was definitely in need of ...

Chose this cruise because of the opportunity to see New Zealand and Australia. For us, this was the chance of a lifetime and we were looking forward to checking this off our bucket list! We flew in the night before to Auckland and spent the next day touring the city for a bit before boarding our cruise! Embarkation was a breeze. Everyone there was very friendly. We headed to our cabin and ...

This is our first cruise with Royal Caribbean, but our fourth cruise overall. RC is really excellent in their embarkation and disembarkation procedures, and was much more efficient than the Princess Cruises we have been on. We did not travel with children, but noticed a meeting place for youngsters, and pools reserved for children. I think there was an arcade (at extra cost) available ...

We travelled January 2019 12 night cruise deck 12 midship cabin. Dining: Cafe Two70 (Aft) was excellent for speciality coffee and sweet treats and sitting looking out of the huge windows was amazing. The light Lunches here were tasty enjoyed piñatas and sandwiches. We had a 8pm sitting for dinner and ate in ‘Chic’ great food and atmosphere. Wait staff were so attentive and friendly. The ...

I had an assumption that all cruise`s were for old fat people, how wrong I was, my parents shouted my wife and 3 boys aged 4-8-11 and my brother and my two nieces. Absolutely blown away staff are some of the most beautiful people we have meet they remind me of the fijian`s, warm, humble, caring, genuine they were the highlight of the trip without a doubt. The boat is almost as good its is ...

Chose this cruise since it fit into schedule while in Australia to travel to New Zealand Realized the ship is large and almost 5000 passengers but we wanted to go to New Zealand . We tried it and will never sail again ! Too many long lines for everything ! We chose to eat in Specialty Resturants every evening and stayed away from Windjammer. Loved the food and staff in Specialty ...
