The whole four days cruise was a good experience and we were pleasantly surprised after reading some adverse about “Voyager of the sea”. We had a good time but many western guests will find this cruise difficult. The Chinese guests all like to do the same thing at the same time which causes poblems on a 5000 guest ship. To have the best time, we learned to adjust our schedule accordingly.
There are lots of reviews about difficulties at boarding do we boarded late at 1:45. No line and got right on.

I boarded the Ovation in Singapore as the 2nd half of a land and sea package - Nepal then onto Singapore for a cruise back to Australia.
I actually got off the ship in Adelaide yesterday instead of continuing onto Sydney. In addition two lots of people near my cabin got off in Perth, they had paid to cruise to Sydney, I think this says a lot.

The OVation is a beautiful ship only 2 yr. young, the artwork & walk throughs are great, 270 at back of ship is great venue with the robots entertaining the humans. The theatre handles the large number of passengers & the smaller venues cope well with passenger numbers.

I was on the cruise that departed Singapore for a 4 nights on 8 October 2018.
The cruise was like the "Parson's Egg." It was good in parts.
The ship itself was exceptional. I only got to explore a fraction of it.
