The cabin was as expected. There needs to be some work in the bathroom where there were rust spots in the corners outside of the tub where water had leaked over the years. Also, the toilet got stuffed 2 times and needed a plumber.
Linens are wonderful and the bed is fabulous. Read entire member review >>
Good storage space. Uncomfortable mattress, unlike last HAL cruise on the Eurodam. Bathtub needed replacement; its seedy look made the whole room feel "dirty." The curtained divisions are great if one partner wants to sleep in! Read entire member review >>
Since january 16, binoculars included as well as new bathrobes. More than enough storage space ( 9 large drawers, 4 small drawers, 4 hanging or shelfed closets), balcony with a chair, a lounger and a small table. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was well maintained and cleaned. The air conditioning and heating system maintained a comfortable temperature in the cabin at all times and was easy to adjust. The bed was quite firm and I found it comfortable. We had no problems with the bathroom and the shower had an excellent flow and was easy to control the temperature. All in all a great room. Is it my imagination or does the Rotterdam have narrower Veranda cabins than the Ryndam or Maasdam?
The door to the refrigerator had a big gash in it and the handle was missing. We mentioned it to the office but nothing was done. The bathtub was very grungy as the finish is worn off.
The location was perfect for us, plenty of storage space, the bed was very comfy. Our grandson was happy with his sofa bed ("I am used to camping so its ok.") Read entire member review >>
