Compact but very efficient. We travel light and unpack our belongings into the drawers and shelves when we arrive so we feel more settled in. There was enough room for both of us. The first cabin we were given was directly below the kitchen area and the noise from above kept us awake at night. The second night was too much so we complained about it. Fortunately there were a few empty rooms available on the ship so they moved us to another area and it was very quiet after that. The Customer Service people were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Read entire member review >>
Went to check our room 3094, good location next to an elevator and a two decks down from the main dinner Edelweiss and on the same side from the Schooner Bar, since the ship is small it will be a short walk for the Windjammer since is in the opposite side of the ship on deck 9. But the negative point the bed was very hard and I thought I was able to manage that set back. I slept like that for 2 days until someone mentioned to me to request an extra comforter which it did make a little difference in the comfort of the bed. This cabin is oceanview a nice point, to see the starts at night time from your window. Luggage won't fit under the bed, average storage, not shelf in closet to place your shoes or other items, no fridge in room. I know you don't need that much room to take a shower, but the shower is kind of tiny with a curtain. Read entire member review >>
Room was a little dirty - found small items on the floor like an earring back, which should have been vacuumed up. Also room steward took our pool towels one night and it took us 2 days to get replacements back. Read entire member review >>
Poorly arranged when beds split. The room was large enough but passage between the bed and dresser was very tight. Balcony very small. Bathroom unusually small. It was impossible to take a shower without water going on the floor due to the shower curtain's sticking to you. Very large closet with many hangers. Poor selection of TV channels and kept showing the same episodes of TV shows in the same language at the same time of night (I began to watch The Mentalist in German, I was so bored). Most English language channels were news, cartoons, or music videos. Read entire member review >>
My cabin was obviously in need of re decoration. There was no fridge, Luckily I was a single passenger because the closets were outdated and small. The accordion doors were hard to open and there was rust around both windows. the carpet was old and the drawers need reconditioning they were hard to open. Read entire member review >>
Ocean view cabin deck 3 Everything as expected. No noise. Mid ship.
On another cruise I had an inside cabin on the same ship because it was only 3 nights on that one. But even though there was nothing wrong with the cabin itself, I can't stand being in a black hole you don't know what time it is. I just love waking up to the sun and the ocean in the outside cabins. I also have been lucky enough to try a balcony once a few yrs ago. And it was wonderful no air conditioning just open the door and listen to the sea at night. Read entire member review >>
Amazing vistas from our oceanview stateroom, the friendliest of people I've ever met, this despite having our cabin being just directly below the dancefloor upstairs! Lovely food and excellent entertainment. Simply unforgettable. I always compare every ship we sailed with against the impeccable standards of Rhapsody of the Seas!Kudos! Read entire member review >>
Outside cabin, cabin 3062:I have nothing to compare our cabin to, as both of our cruises have been on RCI. Storage was very efficient; we had plenty of space for our belongings. Bed, comforter and pillows were comfortable. Stateroom attendant was excellent, and cabin was always clean. The outside of the windows were washed as soon as we docked in Skagway, so our view was always clear. No seasickness whatsoever, as the cabin was low and fairly center. Pleasant, neutral colors. No complaints! Read entire member review >>
