Cabin was compact, with a very comfortable queen sized bed. Bathroom was fine, with a shower with good pressure. 120v (US) and 220v (European) enclosures provided.
We opted for on-board streaming wifi service, and the signal strength in the cabin was fine (1mbps up and down, even in the middle of the atlantic - was a bit spotty on the days the boat was rolling a little in beam seas). Read entire member review >>
Do not stay in Cabin 3562 or any cabin near there. Activity in the restaurant / service area on the floor above will wake you late at night and early in the morning with loud thumps and bangs! Read entire member review >>
Our fifth cruise and first time with a back balcony - we hesitated but the extra room was spectacular and we would book this style and location again. Our own two lounge chairs plus and outdoor dining table and chairs were wonderful. We even entertained new friends on the balcony one evening.. Read entire member review >>
Jose kept our cabin very neat and clean and sported a new towel animal
every day. He got everything we asked for and made sure we had all we
needed any time of the day.
He is the Best we have had in 13 cruises.
Thanks Jose Read entire member review >>
Our room was plenty big. We had a comfortable king size bed with two port holes. Our room steward was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned twice a day and it was great for two adults. More than two adults may be cramped in this room. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was located near the rear of the ship under the main dining room. We had read some reviews about rooms in this area and thought we were not going to be able to sleep due to noise. There were no rooms across from us so the only traffic was from visitors from the rooms at the very end of the ship. As far as noise from above, we only noticed it a couple of times in the evening. It certainly never woke us up or kept us from sleeping. Our bed was comfortable and the size of the room was no different from any typical ship cabin. For 2 of us it was fine and we didn't really spend that much time there except to sleep. Read entire member review >>
Adequately supplied and furnished with average furnishings. Decor was clean but rather dull. Bed was quite comfortable and cabin was very quiet. Small cabin but it did have a surprisingly good number of drawers for storage and a good sized ocean view window. It had a 32" flat screen tv, but no movie channel that I could find and no movies ever offered on board. Read entire member review >>
It's supposed to be a large one but it's a small one instead. Only the wardrobe space is bigger than average. Staterooms are old fashioned and need serious renovation. The Windows are rusty. The air con is very noisy, bring ear plugs with you. Also, door needs to be properly loked otherwise stateroom assistant can come in as outside there's no light showing there's someone in the room. Small but good enough for one person- 7-10" between bed and walls on both sides. But bed was comfortable. Cabin Steward was good but slow to understand directions. Towels and all other bathroom necessities were amply supplied. Soft drinks were hidden in a cabinet hidden with NO directions on where to find then nor their cost. PLENTY of HANGING SPACE FOR ONE AS WELL AS PLENTY OF DRAWER SPACE. Two may have had a problem. Rm was right off Deck 4 Centrum the main entertainment area. This was ideal for me b/c I could keep the cabin door open and hear the music being played in the Centrum which was VERY ENJOYABLE. Read entire member review >>
We had an oceanview cabin 2072. At first, we were kinda upset that we were on the lowest level, but it ended up being very convenient for disembarking during ports of call and at the end of the cruise. Cabin steward, Avalon, was outstanding. Cabin was adequate in space, and you can store your luggage under the bed, which helped. Hated the shower, because it is old school with the curtain and the curtain always sticks to you when you are trying to shower...ugh! We did smell a sewage order a couple of times and our toilet did clog a few times, requiring a call to maintenance. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 2574. Joko was our cabin steward. Room was VERY clean and tidy every single day. Bathroom was spotless. Only noise problem was the closet doors as they opened/closed (quite the spring-action!). Absolutely no complaints. Read entire member review >>
The cabin, at 154 square feet, cannot be called spacious, but perfect for two, with upscale touches like raised bowl sink in the (tiny but modern) bathroom. The shower had great pressure. I have read other reviews that at times the hot water ran out too quickly, and my step daughter said this about their cabin next door, but that was never an issue with us (maybe we were using it all???)Had a nice flat screen, bed was extremely comfortable, more than enough storage room. A well arranged room with a connecting door. Excellent service from the room attendent who put away and took out the top bunks each day for the kids. A good queen bed for the parents. Great having two bathrooms. We were close to the forward elevators and this was perfect for the frequent trips too and from the Adventure Ocean. No noise at night. Read entire member review >>
Cabin more towards the front on Deck 2 and hence away from noise at Deck 4 to 6 (dining and entertainment decks). Being the front is also way from engine noise at back. A fair amount of storage space available. Empty luggage can be stored under the bed if required. Rooms are neat and compact with an adequate and fairly new ensuite from the refurbishment a year ago. Just outside cabin are the elevators and stairs up to the Broadway Theatre. Read entire member review >>
Clean, plenty of storage. We were happy with the cabin size. Wished there was coffee and a real mini-bar. The "min-bar" was there was a laugh - a few warm bottles of water and a few warm can of soda. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin 4522 was great! Large Ocean view view was awesome room size perfect for 2. Facilities were larger than on other ships I have cruised. Over all our stateroom was perfect! Read entire member review >>
Our cabins were sufficient for us. The beds made up nicely though it would have been nice to have flat screen tellies. We didn't watch the telly much here as the entertainment in the shows were fantastic! We especially love the folded towels too each night with a different theme. Read entire member review >>
1 Bed configuration at 2624 should be against both walls to leave a space in the center. This allows for easy storing of luggage under the bed and is more space economic. Perhaps the beds raised for easier storage which is constrained
2 lights are adequate. Bathroom is well designed and configured. shaver points are good thoughts. There should be shower caps.
3 Night light should be provided at the foot of the door towards the toilet
4 Clear signs should be shown for the 110 volt and the 220 volt outlets at dresser. Provide bedside power points for charging of phones and notebook
5 A hot iron should be available for loan to passengers to iron their clothing
6. An electric kettle was provided but the tap water has strong chlorine taste. Can something be done to remove this?
7 It is high time to replace the bulky TV with more compact hanging LCD screen Read entire member review >>
The space was utilized well. The furniture showed considerable wear, and the T.V. was old as the hills, but worked well. The beds were comfortable and overall, it was a comfortable, but very small cabin. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was forward which allowed us to know when docekd - different kind of alarm clock. It also had a small perch between bed and porthole large enough for two people to recline which made for a nice, enclosed balcony. Read entire member review >>
