Island Escape for Families

Editor Rating
Families
3.0

The relaxed atmosphere aboard this ship extends to the attitude towards children, with good provision for families.

There's a special children's character, Palmy, in the shape of a friendly palm tree who supervises activities for younger passengers and who can even accompany children as they eat. Palmy's Children's Club is a great place to leave children aged from three to six. There are also options for children aged up to 11 years old, plus a games arcade to keep teenagers amused.

For families travelling with new babies, it can be a squeeze to get cots into the smaller cabins. There's enough space, but it may be tight. It could also be difficult wheeling pushchairs through the ship's narrow passageways and corridors.
