Providing a rich learning experience is the area where Clelia II excels. Each itinerary focuses on a theme -- Byzantine art, ancient trade routes -- enhanced by expert lecturers onboard and exceptional guides ashore. The daily shore excursion is an integral part of the cruise, rather than just a carefree fun-in-the-sun visit to the beach.
Clelia II Fellow Passengers
Classical Cruises caters to travelers with a keen interest in learning about the places they visit, rather than to the glitz seeking, late night party crowd. If your school of thought is "the more the merrier," these ships probably aren't for you. Passengers tend to be affluent, well-educated American couples in the 50+ age range. Many are affiliated with museum groups or university associations. Due to the educational bent of onboard activities and shore excursions, these cruises are not suitable for small children.
Clelia II Dress Code
Resort sportswear is appropriate for all but the Captain's Welcome and Farewell Dinners. For these occasions, men should bring a jacket and tie; women a dressy outfit.
Clelia II Gratuity
The suggested tip of $12 per person, per day is divided among all cabin stewards and the food and beverage staff.
