Itineraries

AmaWaterways's Europe river ships offer more than a dozen different itineraries ranging from nine to 30 nights -- from Rhine and Danube cruises to the Black Sea, as well as sailings to Europe's famous Christmas markets. Many itineraries can be booked as cruisetours, which include a few nights' hotel stay in Europe (Paris or Budapest) before or after the cruise embarks. The most impressive offering is a month-long Paris to Istanbul cruisetour, which includes a three week river cruise covering the Rhine, Main, Mosel and Danube as well as pre- and post-cruise hotel stays in Paris and Istanbul. AmaDagio also cruises the Rhone and Saone Rivers.

Through mostly chartered vessels, Ama offers Russian river cruise; Mekong River cruise that sails through Vietnam and Cambodia; and short safari cruises on Botwana's Chobe. Cruisetours are also available -- and sometimes the only option -- for the Mekong, Chobe and Volga cruises.
