Just returned from the Grand Med cruise on Island Princess, unfortunately the itenery changed, so we missed a lot of our points of interest, parts of Istanbul where closed, so why they changed the ports to do that one second I have no idea, other points of interest we sailed through during the night so missed them. The addition of more cabins makes the ship seem overly busy around the pool ...

We spent a delightful three nights in Venice before our cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Olimpa. Good location near water taxis. Great breakfast and nice canal side location. The ship was older but recently redone and nice enough. We chose this over a river cruise as we were traveling with another couple who are platinum with princess. We are gold level Disney cruise, line and vacation club ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was our first cruise so had nothing to compare it to and no idea what to expect from Princess. Overall, we were impressed and will definitely cruise again. Majority of the passengers were Brits and Americans but also lots of Australians and Canadians. Most we spoke to seemed to think Princess were one of the better cruise companies. The food and ...

We really enjoyed this cruise especially the sail out of Venice. I have sailed into and out of Venice with Princess before and it's a real delight - do it while you can, it may not always be an option with the potential sinking of Venice! The overnight in this port gave us the option of seeing the city at night too - it's a wonderful place, easy to get around with lovely buildings and canals at ...

This is our 4th cruise on Princess and 8th cruise since the 1990. We have sailed on Celebrity, Holland America and Royal Carribean We overall had a wonderful cruise and the ports were amazing, that is why we selected this particular cruise. I found all the staff to be excellent, food in the dinning room (Bordeaux-anytime seating good) we avoided the Lido deck most meals, we do not enjoy ...

I booked this cruise very last minute and actually didn't do a lot of research prior as there wasn't time. I knew Princess was a nice cruise line, but hadn't sailed with them before, and found out the ship had just been through a major drydock. I chose the cruise because of a very good price and a great itinerary that included Istanbul. By the time I booked, all balconies were sold out, and ...

This was our 7th cruise and 2nd with Princess. We are married and Mid 50's. Very important: prior to cruising enroll in your ship's/cruise Roll Call on this site, its a great way to get and share ideas and make friends prior to your cruise!!!! We did the Venice to Barcelona route departing Venice Friday at 1 PM and beginning with Istanbul....however we never made Istanbul because on Saturday ...

My wife and I (both over 70) where very pleasantly surprised at the size of the balcony cabin on C deck; being first timers we were a little apprehensive after reading various reports. We found the cabin to be well planned, with plenty of room to unpack completely, and an out of sight storage area for our suitcases. The balcony was private and a secluded with two chairs and a small table. Ideal ...

This is our 2nd cruise with Princess and our 4th in total. We flew from Manchester to Venice on 9th July for sailing on 10th. Everything went well from start to finish. No delays! We boarded the Island Princess in great time and found our way to our Mini Suite on Baha Deck. First impressions were lovely then about half an hour in I noticed a nasty smell, which I initially blamed my husband's ...
