Alaska is a beautiful place and getting there is more than half of the fun. The Royal Princess is a beautiful ship with many things to do, see or enjoy from early morning to late at night. This was a great cruise. Princess does a good job on their Alaska cruises. Their attention to detail was top notch. No glitches whatsoever. Service was excellent the whole week. We boarded the Island Princess in Vancouver. The Vancouver port is beautiful, but the embarkation process is spread out throughout the terminal. You went from one end to another end and back which didn't seem very efficient. It was very organized just not efficient.

Cruise ship is designed well, easy to access everything.
Balcony view was good, room design works well with lots of closet space. Bathroom shower could be a little larger (couldn't fit well). Room Stewart was A#1, welcoming very helpful.
