So Disappointing

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Majestic Princess

I wanted to go to Fiji to see the islands and to do some snorkeling. The thirteen day cruise consisted of only two days of going on the Islands, a stop in Lautoka (nothing there) Suva (dodgy and sleazy). There is no adult only pool ( as advertised) it was taken over by kids, as the barmen said it is not an enforced rule children in the Hollywood pool. Children put in life jackets in the ...

Nice ship, great food, but poor entertainment and inadequate public areas

This is a large ship built in 2017. The design is elegant, and cabins have some nice features such as large-screen TVs, a good choice of films, serials and documentaries and on-line information. On the negative side, one gets the impression that every available space has been squeezed to create revenue generating cabins, at the expense of public spaces that are surprisingly limited and more ...

My husband and I were invited by my sister and her family to cruise to New Zealand on the Majestic Princess to celebrate her covid-delayed 30th wedding anniversary. This was our 3rd cruise to NZ on 3 different cruise lines and our 2nd cruise since Covid. The Majestic Princess is using the Medallion App system. This means you can order food, drinks, check schedules, find your travel mates, book ...

We are just completing a New Zealand cruise from Australia on the Majestic Princess. We are Elite members of Princess and have cruised extensively with a number of cruise lines. We have always been happy with Princess before so it has been very disappointing to experience such poor service. We contracted covid on board. We found the medical team either overworked &/understaffed. The medical centre ...

Four Night Thanksgiving Cruise from San Francisco to Ensenada

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Royal Princess

This was a four night Thanksgiving cruise out of San Francisco to Ensenada. Despite having 4,000 passengers aboard, 1,300 crew - service was good and all my complaints and issues were promptly and satisfactorily resolved. Last year, I took the Ruby Princess Thanksgiving Cruise out of San Francisco, with only 1,300 passengers aboard. While I prefer a smaller ship, I think the crew of Royal ...

Never amazes me how Princess continues to outdo itself! Do not waste your time in any of their Specialty Dining Rooms - food is better in regular dining rooms! The Crown Grill use to be pretty good - now the meat is just like regualr dining room meat and the main reason I use to go was for the delicious Crab Cake - this cruise, I didn't even know I was eating crab ! AWFUL. Seems like Princess ...

We boarded the ship after they had returned from another cruise with 700 - 800 COVID cases on board. Because of this we were delayed boarding for about 4 hours during which time they thoroughly cleaned the ship while keeping us informed by text messages. Credit to Princess for this as to my knowledge we had no or very few cases on our cruise. Boarding was a little chaotic due to the delay but ...

First cruise since Pandemic. First cruise with Princess. Boarding at OPT, Sydney extremely efficient. Despite being lowest level of loyalty, on board within 15mins and rooms were ready at 12.45. Guarantee balcony cabin. Assigned A632 AFT cabin on Aloha deck. Cabin very nice. Great view from balcony. Queen bed extremely comfy. Plenty of space. Desk & chair but no couch. Balcony had two ...
