Embarkation was fairly smooth, although we were supposed to get priority (Platinum) - it didn't happen. (If you don't like being herded like sheep, then don't cruise!) Cabins were ready, which seldom happens on other lines. Great mix of ... Read more

It is our fourth cruise on the Dawn Princess and probably our last as it is due to be refitted and rebadged to a P&O vessel in Singapore in May 2017 . We had an outside mini suite again which accommodated 3 adults comfortably ... Read more

Thoughly enjoyed my 12 days onboard. Numerous reviews like to point out the age of Dawn Princess. Yes she is 20 years old but terribly well maintained. She is a beautiful old girl with a full teak wrap around promenade which is sadly ... Read more

Good to be back on Princess. As most people say the ship is old and is retiring to P&O next year ( good luck P&O ). Rooms are smaller than most ships, but are clean and sufficient with fridge, safe, TV etc. Overall it was ... Read more

We could not be more satisfied than we were with this cruise. Embarkation was a little slow, but because we were inside the terminal, we were protected from the warmer weather. Disembarkation was a much quicker experience and we actually ... Read more

As a frequent cruiser with Princess I have noted a number of changes from my last cruise. On this cruise two thirds of the passengers were on their first cruise with Princess. The average age group was much lower than other cruises I ... Read more

Terrific itinerary to PNG to places hard to get to any other way. Doini Island particularly memorable with spectacular snorkelling almost onshore for nervous swimmers. Solomons always interesting....hire a local taxi rather than an ... Read more

Flew from Melbourne & stayed overnight at Hacienda Motel opposite the docks. Adds nearly $1,000 per couple to the over all holiday. Real pain for us Melbournians. Apart from that, Brisbane Portside Precinct is lovely and within ... Read more

After reading some of the reviews on here - I almost didn't book this cruise. Luckily we did though. Was very good value for money. Food (both quality and quantity) was superb. A step up from Carnival and P&O who we've sailed with ... Read more

To start with the ship is old in years but in no way shows lack of up keep in any of the passenger areas. Having said that, we got of to a slow start, leaving the berth at 5.30pm instead of advertised 4pm . Then, after transiting Sydney ... Read more
