First off if you are handicapped this ship is impossible to get down the corridors with a scooter or wheelchair once the housekeeping puts their carts out in morning which lasts all day .My wife needs a scooter to get around which we had to leave by the elevators until late at night after housekeeping was done ,which meant she had to walk from elevator area to room . Getting on the ship was terrible, people were waiting over 2 hours just to get inside the building. They were only letting in 2-3 people at a time. The overall appearance of the ship was good. The food in the upstairs buffet was not very good. The dinning room had 2-3 good nights to choose from and the rest were not so good of choices. *Excellent service
*Lots of fantastic entertainment
*Deep swimming pools with chairs kept back.
*Real professionally made pizza.

This was my longest ever cruise, at 15 nights aboard the Emerald Princess. I got to be reacquainted with the good, so-so, and bad in the 2+ weeks.

Choose the cruise based on the itinerary. Cruising Antarctica was amazing. Really enjoyed all 34 days. Friendly,helpful staff. The food was great but did get a bit redundant.
