I booked this cruise with two other couples I met on a previous cruise, and we wanted to get together again and decided on this one. Embarkation was very speedy being in the green lane. There was a long line for the blue lane. The food service was good onboard regarding lido deck dining such as Salty Dog or Slices. Dining room was always lengthy. The three times I went to the dining room, it was ...
This cruise was VERY hard to rate. The layout of the ship, the food, the service and the comedy and magic entertainment were all very good. The itinerary was good in Newport, Boston, St. John and Quebec -- otherwise there wasn't a lot more to see. Unfortunately there were numerous sour notes.
The ship was old but mostly well maintained. In our cabin, however, the mattress was nearly worn ...
I will start out with we are not hard to please. Fifteen cruises in, all different lines and our age probably has something to do with that.
Our cabin on Caribe deck and balcony were fine. Once the toilet didn't work and someone was there immediately to fix it.
Our cabin stew and all the crew were so very pleasant and helpful and they were all so very personable.
Our ports and time in ...
We cruised on this same ship - Regal about 4 yrs ago on the Baltic Cruise. The quality of the food and service since then has improved. The dining room dinners were very good - better than 4 yrs ago. The service seemed better too. Our attendants were on the ball. The first cruise on Regal we had mini suite and this time we had mini suite one level higher and one room further forward. The cabin ...
We chose this itinerary as we wanted to do London (5 days prior) and the British isles. We had a standard balcony. It worked for us but I think I prefer the deluxe balcony with a bit more room. Our room steward, Romy, was excellent. The September weather, although pleasantly cool, didn’t lend itself to sitting out on a balcony nor sunbathing. No big deal. We enjoyed the ports especially Cork, ...
We chose this as an anniversary cruise as we got engaged in Bar Harbor and have not been back since.
We were quite concerned about Hurricane Lee but it ended up being of no consequence, we had calm seas and only rain in Boston, other wise perfect weather.
We arrived early at JFK and took a Lyft to the cruise port in Brooklyn ( It was about $ 65-70) Our plan was to dump our luggage and ...
I love the Pacific Ocean, the islands and the Pacific People. I like a lot of sea days as shore visits take a toll of my damaged feet. I'm a loyal Princess cruiser and also have been on the Coral Princess before and love the smaller ship with the amazing quirky decor.
In terms of the staff - they were all so lovely and friendly. I've added a photo to show that we are not the average couple, ...
Spent far too much time and energy planning this cruise and cruise tour. The web site and app. is not user friendly and response time is hit and miss likely causing us to book our next cruise with another company. Otherwise I would have rated this cruise a solid 4, maybe even 5.
However, The logisistics and on board and on land service was excellent at all levels. This was our 2nd Alaska ...
This was our first cruise since the restart after covid. As platinum cruisers with Princess this was not our first trip by any means and we were interested to compare the before and after.
Royal was bigger than the ships we had cruised previously so we had some expectations of crowding which wasn't really an issue for the most part.
Bar and Atrium entertainers were great but the main ...
I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I love going to New England and Canada, and I liked that we would be in port every day except the last day. I live close to Brooklyn and my friend lives in Brooklyn, so I suggested we go on this cruise together. She has cruised on Princess before and I haven't, and she told me I'd be in for a treat. Well, not so much in this case.
Embarkation in Brooklyn ...
