Pizza and Movies, sunsets, beaches and rainbows -- best of Caribbean Princess
After a 10-year hiatus from Princess, we joined our Toronto friends on this 14-day Caribbean Princess sailing from San Juan on January 8, 2012, as it boasted an itinerary of 10 islands including St. Lucia and Antigua which we had not been to yet.
While we enjoyed this cruise, we may not return to Princess until the ...
I felt I needed to write this review, because before I booked our cruise I was searching everyway to find out how other people felt about Princess Cruise lines.
If you are looking for a quite time with not alot of kids and an older bunch of cruisers this is definatly a good cruise for you. There were a few younger people on board, but not alot.
The Caribbean Princess is in good shape ...
We have cruised the Carib three times, the Horn, the Med, the Baltics and Alaska once each. Cruised with 4 different lines. This time, we were originally in the back of the ship and requested a mid ship cabin if available. Princess met our request and that was much appreciated. The Princess staff were very helpful and accomodating.
This itinerary is fantastic - two weeks with only two ...
This ship caters more to the young adult/adult crowd. Although it touts youth programs it really does not have much to attract a 10 year old. No climbing wall, super slide, mini golf. The best you get is a small kiddie pool and the two regular pools. However, there are bars and lounges everywhere for the over 21 crowd.
Get the full kids drink package, it allows you to get free milk shakes ...
Booked this cruise because I liked the itinerary. Caribbean Princess was docked in San Juan. I highly recommend sailing out of San Juan; because you are already within the Caribbean, you are able to hit more ports and have less days at sea as opposed to sailings out of the continental 48 states. In the future, I would go one day early so I can check out San Juan, which is really a beautiful ...
Apart from a mini cruise in Asia a few years ago with the kids we hadn't given cruising much of a thought, but having an anniversary approaching we decided to try this 14 nights' port intensive one away from the winter weather. We like exploring new places and this appealed to us.
We flew from Scotland, via a great overnight stop in New York {great walking through Central Park in the snow!} to ...
We went on the Caribbean Princes for a B2B cruise starting Jan. 22, 2012. We had 10 ports of call so it was a very busy time. I am partially disabled and use a walker and I have several food items I can't eat. Embarking and Disembarking were easy and fast. They were really great with me and had a wheelchair ready for me.
Cabin C202 was great. It had a bed and a desk with another unit that ...

This was mine and the DH first cruise. We were recommended to princess from my brother-in-law. The initial booking process was very simple and after months of rescearch it made choosing what to do a snap.
I won't talk about the trip there becuase it has nothing to do with princess.
Bording was suppose to start at 1, but when we arrived in san juan the princess rep said we should meet at 11 for ...
This was another really great cruise with Princess aboard the Caribbean Princess. A very large ship with over 3000 other passengers journeying to some wonderful Caribbean destinations.
After 18hrs of travelling from our home just outside London, England, with flights on Iberia Airlines from London to Madrid and then on to San Juan, Puerto Rico, we arrived at the ship late in the early evening ...
