I was planning to have a beautiful Christmas vacation . Turn out the worst in my life very sad very disappointing . Very dirty ship !!!! I was very scared for my health for one week . State rooms are filthy and stinks l. Shower is not working , garbage under the bed from previous passengers . When I checked in they lost my luggage for seven hours , no apology not even one word I guess ...

The ship itself is beautifully appointed...The group and common areas are quite elegant. However, much of our experience was sub-par. This is our 19th or 20th cruise with Princess...we have booked the Club Class accomodations for the pasts 4 or 5 years. We found the new décor and cabin layout made the room much more crowded and confining. We most frequently travel with another couple and get ...

We booked this cruise almost 18 months in advance. My husband and I were so excited to go on this cruise. Embarking the ship was so easy, the employees guiding us were so nice and courteous. The cabin was very clean and pretty spacious. We had a deluxe balcony and I loved being able to sit outside with a little privacy and just relax to the sound of the water and beauty of the ocean. The ship is ...

We have had a good experience with Princess before on the Crown Princess so chose Princess again. Also read about "the medallion" experience and thought it sounded really cool so wanted to try this ship and it is a newer ship as well. The embarkation process was very smooth, we had our medallions mailed to our home so that made the boarding process even quicker. It took no more than 1/2 an ...

Took this cruise to get away from the hud-bub prior to Christmas and the non stop shopping and headaches. Theatre movies on board are 1st run, good quality and throughout the day and evening on the outdoor screen. The late night movie has comfortable lounge chairs, blankets and popcorn. Indoor movies also available in the Vista lounge....bring a blanket, they chill the room like a ...

Our anniversary. Very disappointed with the ship and quality. Princess used to be our favorite after 10 cruises with them. Not planning to cruise with them again. Everything seems to have changed seems like only interest in nickel and dime you for amenities the gave in the past Much prefer the older ships. Restaurant food was only average. If you asked for additional entree were charged ...

Disappointing to say the least

While this is only my first cruise I would have say I am disappointed in the overall experience. On arrival I had no idea on what to do or where to go. As a first time on a cruise, I would have thought there would be an orientation session to assist those who are first time on a cruise. Gratuity was automatically charged with no ability to decide on whether it was earned or not . To me ...

Other friends were taking the cruise and it was easy to get there as we all live in Los Angeles was one of the main reasons for taking this cruise. The ship was the best one I have been on and I have taken 4 cruises before this one, Alaska, Mediterranean, Baltic and Caribbean. The entertainment and the theater were exception on this trip, from the singer/dancers who performed 3 different shows to ...

Exactly what you don't want on a Cruise.

When it's all said and done, I would strongly advise no sailing with Princess. While our destinations were beautiful (Mexican Riviera), the experience onboard was - at the end of the day - really bad. The good things: - easy boarding, easy disembarking - all staff are kind, prompt, and trying their best. - decent pool setup. good for swimming. - lotus spa has a very luxurious ...

Too many awful experiences to list here, but I will start off with 2 things. It started right after leaving the port in L.A. (San Pedro) Ship security held my luggage (my wife received hers upon boarding) for 8 hours after boarding the ship for a portable hand held steamer for wrinkled clothes finally releasing to me after the luggage was opened examined and then expecting me to drag it across the ...
