For a holiday cruise we chose the Hawaii trip. We enjoyed the ship but it was crowded. Lines were often formed at the coffee shop and restaurants. I don’t like how the Lido Buffett is situated because it’s so congested and crowded and there is no real traffic pattern. The captain was the best! Very congenial and always visible. The service was very good and the food was good. Our stateroom was huge and our view was excellent. The ship looks good but needs a refit. Many staterooms had water problems including ours. The elevator buttons wouldn’t always work. The jucuzzi jets didnt work in the solarium area.

We choose this cruise for a holiday get away. Princess Cruises were suppose to be upscale over Holland American and Carnival. What we found is an old and tired ship.
They did maintenance on the swimming pools while in port (islands) so those staying on board could not use them.
