Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Caribbean Princess

I chose this cruise for the Panama Canal. I didn’t want to go on holland because of the age of most guests. I made a huge mistake. The refit of 8 mil. Didn’t change the feel of a old ship. The rooms are tiny. I’m a single and I still feel cramped. No bathtub tiny tiny shower. Loads of staff but not very friendly. Like they are doing you a favor. Food in lido is horrible. Unimaginative not very ...

The cruise was given to us as a Christmas gift. We enjoyed our time at sea, most of the food, the atmosphere and the ability to watch a movie under the stars. The food was good except for the pizza at the "Slice" restaurant and the hamburgers served in the dining room. We were very disappointed in them. Often, going down the hallway to our cabin you could spell a strong sewer smell other than ...

This was probably our 15th cruise but our first with Princess. I love their line! The guests are a bit more mature, so unlike Carnival and NCL, there are not a bunch of drunk and obnoxious people. I am not really a foodie, so we ate a light breakfast in the Horizon Cafe and usually skipped lunch except for the first day we ate at Alfredo's. Wonderful food! We also had Prego's pizza twice and ...

Had an incredible time. Food on the ship was great!! No complaints. Would go back in a heartbeat. Mixed crowd.. Good value for the money. Other passengers said it was more of a mellow cruise when it came to atmosphere and entertainment. It was fine for us. I enjoyed the fact that not everyone was under 30. This time we chose alcohol drink package. Was pricey! 500 for week per person. ...

I wanted to sail through the new canal. An excursion allowed me to also travel through the old canal. It was a thrill. I liked the improvements made since my last cruise on Princess. The food was much better and I really liked being able to communicate with those in my group through the Princess internet. What a fantastic idea. The service was fantastic. Our dining room experience was ...

St Martaan Flying Dutchman / Rainforest Adventure TERRIBLE experience

This is an excellent cruise with the exception of the excursion on Saint Maarten. The Regal princess is not one of the superliners but had all the excellent options typical of a great cruise line. Do not consider the Flying Dutchman/ Rain Forest Adventure. The staff was unsafe, It will take much longer than planned, the service was disrespectful and I’m surprised Princess sponsored them. Shame ...

We chose this cruise for a fiftieth wedding anniversary present and included our children and spouses. From embarkation to disembarkation the trip was spectacular. The crew, including wait staff, stewards, bar tenders, etc were excellent. The moment we arrived at out room there were balloons, congratulatory signs and good wishes. In our room were banners, mobiles and “towel sculptures” of ...

We have been on different cruise ships and by far this was the best in everything. The food was top notch, the service, the entertainment, everything went real smoothly, no wait for anything. We had the best time and the best of everything. The excursions were great also. We had plenty of time in each port to shop or sightsee. This was the first time we ever had an inside cabin and we chose ...
