Good Value Cruise - High end "Encore" Show

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Royal Princess

Princess Cruise Lines has always been a line with which I personally prefer to travel. I chose this particular cruise due to the value. Not having children allows me the flexibility to travel off-season when I can often get the best value for my money. Having travelled to the Ports of call offered on this cruise, it was nice to see that there were some different shore excursions offered ...

We booked this cruise to celebrate 48 years of marriage and we were confident that Princess would meet our needs. Since we had attained platinum status, the extra perks were great. We felt that service overall was outstanding especially in the Allegro (traditional) dining room with Hugo as our waiter. I also wanted to increase my order from 1 dozen red roses to 4 dozen red roses to commemorate our ...

The Royal Princess disappointment

We wanted to give Princess another try since we use to sail with them many times. this was our 14th cruise with Princess. We have been on most of them. Theater seats and deck chairs were never available. There were no accommodations for disabled in the theater, or pool side. Passengers would put stuff on chairs no matter how many times they were told no reservation of theater or deck chairs, ...

We have been Celebrity cruisers for many years. I , recently, became interested in the Regal Princess after seeing some photos online. We decided to book an April 2018 cruise to the western Caribbean as first time Princess voyagers. What a happy surprise! The cruise could not have been any better. We could not help comparing it to our Celebrity voyages and we think this cruise and this ship ...

We cruise Princess for the relaxation factor and the all around great food and dinning experience--and this cruise did not disappoint! The food was Top Notch!! Loved the staff and the choices, the food was always well prepared and on time. The ports were terrific, as usually with Princess. Princess Cays is a true gem--tranquil beach and since it is a private Princess Island, only your ship is ...

Me and my wife chose this cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was my wife's dream to visit the Caribbean. The staff of the Regal made our first cruise unforgettable, we are hooked. From the Sail-A-Way with the Love Boat horns to the excellent Club Class dining experience our cruise was excellent. We booked a mini suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The Lotus Spa I would ...

Sorry for the length of this. Had a fabulous time. We were three couples in our 50’s. Everything with embarkation and debarkation went smooth. The last three cruises we have taken were with Celebrity so my comparison is going to be to those. Ship: The Regal is a beautiful ship. The Piazza is very pretty. Lots of elevators. We found that the ship has some design flaws: to get to the ...

I’m a beginner...only having done one other cruise...the Carnival Valor...and that was a few years ago. I really enjoyed that cruise...thinking I wouldn’t. There is simply no comparison in the two cruises. Princess exceeded my expectations in virtually all areas. The accommodations were very nice..not too small or suffocating (balcony room). The food was superb...the dining room menus were ...

Friends' 50th Wedding Anniversary

Cruise and weather were great. Ports of call were not important for this cruise. We were there to help friends celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Ship's Capitan performed a vow renewal in chapel and service was excellent. We followed with a reception on the fantail of 16th deck. The ship's staff did an wonderful job in accommodating our group (we were not booked as a group or wedding ...

Picked this ship because it is the newest Princess ship that sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale in our target dates AND this sailing had FOUR ports in 7 days. HIGHLY recommend. MASSIVE upgrade over our previous experiences on Carnival. Our flight was early and we were on the ship and in our stateroom before noon. AMAZING. Our luggage was outside the cabin door within 3 hours on the ship and before ...
