We chose this cruise so we could sail with some friends we met on the Crown Princess a few years ago and to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. In summary, we loved this cruise! We had a wonderful time. Embarkation was a breeze. Check in took about 10 minutes and then we were personally escorted by a waiter wearing a tux with white gloves. He showed us around a bit and then took us up to our ...
Was really looking forward to this cruise to try the new Medallion and the new (and supposedly improved) bedding. The Medallion experience worked pretty good the first week in getting into my cabin, but then it pretty much quit working. The internet with the Medallion was a joke and most passengers spent most of their time waiting for one of the crew to help them getting logged on and off ...
I flew into Ft. Lauderdale on Wed. Nov. 21st, the day before Thanksgiving, flight down was great ATL was pandemonium. Got to my hotel The Courtyard Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Beach right at 2pm. Can't say enough about this hotel, I've stayed here years ago, it was nice then it's only gotten better. My room was incredible, it overlooked the marina and the International Swimming Hall of Fame great ...
I fell in love with Princess Cruise lines 6 years ago. My first cruise left me craving more. I must say the staff on Princess is exceptional. The ship is well maintained and very clean. The cabins are spacious with plenty of storage space for clothing and accessories. The food was delicious and I highly recommend trying the specialty dining experience. We dined at the Crown Grill which served the ...
Having just been on a 15 day Royal Transatlantic, we expected the same level of cruising on her sister ship, the Royal. While the "facility" was almost identical, a number of things were lacking.
The quality and variety of foods in the Main Dining Rooms seemed below what was presented on the Royal. Even the Horizon Buffet was not quite up to par. When the buffet fails to please and you end up ...
Let me start by saying that Princess was our favorite cruise line at one point. Our last Princess cruise before this one was in 2011. We loved Princess back then. We did a cruise in 2012 on the Freedom of the Seas (RCCL) and they became our favorite with Princess being a close 2nd. Recently we sailed Princess again on the Regal for 7 nights doing the Eastern Itinerary. Overall, we gave this cruise ...
We chose this particular cruise for the Itinerary. The Port choices on this itinerary were a very good choice. We booked 5 excursions and were pleased with all of them. Princess does a great job in embarkation and disembarkation, and the balcony stateroom was very nice, including the bed and bedding. We really enjoyed the Vines bar and the staff was as friendly as all staff used to be, back ...
Loved seeing new islands. The 4 production shows were incredible. Used private tours on 6 of the 8 islands and was very pleased with them. Shoreexcursions.com and shoreexcursionsgroup.com
We were left very unimpressed with food on the ship and heard that from a number of other passengers. The choices were just too international and spicy. We were in the Caribbean so I guess spices are to be ...
We picked this cruise last minute to get away for 14 days in a warm climate. The Caribbean Princess has a wonderful configuration (lots of deck areas and pools/hot tubs to find a hide-a-way and relax). Really enjoyed their Pickle-Ball Court (played a lot). We enjoyed the back of the ship where you could lounge and look out the back into the ocean and horizon. The Fresh Market Food/Planks & ...
The Bad : Ship shakes under sail and unbelievably worse in port, especially annoying when you are dining. Common areas good condition but we had hit and miss cabins this fall and winter, some ok and some awful condition. Ship staff said they can’t update the rooms without a dry dock and the company keeps putting that off. Personally had and witnessed some negative interactions with the Guest ...
