Panama Canal in aft suite

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

Fantastic experience! Stateroom was beautiful but I can confirm the vibration is excessive, even for an aft stateroom. However, the overall quality of the room and that balcony during the transit far outweighed the vibration being a problem. Would book it again in a heartbeat. Balcony dinner was FANTASTIC. Club Class dining was wonderful and we were able to have the same server every night and ...

This cruise stopped at some ports we had not visited previously and also went into the Panama Canal and back out again. We also left winter behind for ten days and enjoyed the balmy Caribbean weather. Although Island Princess is fifteen years old now, it has been well maintained. Our Caribe deck balcony cabin was excellent and even a bit larger than we expected. Our needs were met perfectly by our ...

My family & I are easy-going people & we had fun despite the fact that this was the most unfriendly ship we have ever sailed on! The food was also average to below average & I am not that particular. The best place to eat was the grill on the ledo. The buffet & dining rooms were a disappointment as was the coffee shop. They did not notify us that 2 of the 4 excursions that we chose were ...

We had friends on board that we wanted to join. We love going to the Beergarden on Front Street in St Thomas for bushwhackers, etc. Only one show a night. Food is better on Royal. Staff is nicer on Regal. No Logos trivia. Long stay on ST Thomas- people were skeptical about being out after dark. Iffy is over promoted. Jewelry stores flourish after the hurricanes. Still selling stuff way to high. ...

This was my first experience of long haul flight and cruise, usually we (my wife and daughter) embark Southampton. Following 20 hours traveling including 1 hour to exit Miami airpo rt we were met by a Princess representative to facilitate transfer to The Shula hotel for our overnight accommodation. Unfortunately this was an extremely shambolic affair with my family and our fellow travellers ...

This was the very first cruise for my husband and me, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Obviously, we have nothing to compare it to, but it met or exceeded our expectations in just about all areas. Embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth and quick. The ship was lovely and the cabin was perfect. We booked a suite, and the cabin was very spacious (which is important ...

We took the redeye flight from Seattle so we were very tired when we arrived in FLL. We had to wait for 5 more hours in the airport before the Princess bus arrived. The embarkation went smoothly and fast. We chose to take the stairs to our room and avoid the elevator congestion. We left our belongings in the room and went right to the buffet and enjoyed a restful lunch. The Crown ...

We booked a 7 day Eastern Carribean Cruise because we had never been to the Carribean before. We had been on Princess before and thought to try it. The first thing I noticed was the Service. We always had someone around to take care of us. Whether we needed drinks, extra napkins, extra anything. Our cabin steward was so friendly and so fast. I remember for a few days we went to breakfast, ...

Absolutely wonderful 10 day cruise in Jan toSouthern Caribbean Medley on Princess Crown. The Crown is a beautiful classically decorated ship with Serene and elegant decor. Easy to get around. From food to excursions to weather....awesome. We were on Caribe deck 10 room 219 and had an extra large balcony. Excellent service from steward. We did 5:15 traditional dining in Davinci. Samrun was the head ...

My husband and I wanted to do a cruise. A friend recommended this cruise line; we had never been. We embarked at FLL. Embakation was smooth and the staff were pleasant. Hand sanitizer everywhere and staff encouraged use. The room was clean and of a decent size; it was an interior room. The deck level was also perfect, didnt feel too much of the ship’s movement. However, after the first two ...
