I chose cruise because it was 14 nights. Next time would chose a back to back 14 nights because cruisers are younger.
Very smooth and Easy embarkation and disembarkation.
Service and cabin were great. I paid extra to be on the pool deck which was one below the fitness center. Tread Mills did not open till 8 so you could not go to early shore excursions or had to not go to fitness room early. ...
We are veterans of eighteen cruises and consider the Royal Princess one of the best. The ship was very elegant and tastefully decorated, not garish like some of the other ships we have sailed on. The cabin was a little tight and the balcony was smaller than we are used to, but the room was comfortable and well maintained. The shower is actually larger than most, which was a pleasant surprise. ...
Just went on Circle Caribbean Cruise on the Caribbean Princess. Embarkation went smoothly and quickly thanks to the Medallion. Our balcony cabin was small but comfortable. The food in the main dining room was excellent as was the service. The buffet or fresh market was just a little disappointing. The variety of choices was lacking. The omelette stations in the BBQ and Crab Legs venue was ...
As two Ozzie’s who have cruised for years with Princess we decided on this destination as we had not covered the Caribbean area before. We chose Caribbean Princess primarily because of the date (early January )and it being a two week cruise rather than seven days.
The ports were all fascinating. We had our own activities organised and didn’t do any ships tours as quite frankly we have always ...
We were celebrating our 58th anniversary on this cruise. We have cruised with Princess many times (Platinum Member), but never on a ship this old (2004). It was refurbished in 4/2017. Ship now has Ocean Medallion & has Medallion Net which is fastest internet we have ever had on cruise ship, as fast as my internet at home. Medallion used for everything & opens your door when you approach. ...
We chose this Cruise for the itinerary and the "reputation" of the Cruse Line. A lesson in not believing in their own PR! They failed in every aspect of their published standards.
Dress Code in main dining venues simply ignored by management (i do not blame the guests) Food was rather Hit & Miss. The constant interruptions as the waiting staff are made to up-sell either drinks or substituting ...
We chose this sailing for the 2 week cruise & ports of call. The ship is one of the largest over 3,000 passengers & also one of the oldest in commission. The ship has not been maintained with several defects remaining. ie: elevator doors close rapidly & will slam in you if your not quick.
Dining room menus repeat often & not like in the past if you desire a steak you have to pay extra ($20.) ...
This was our first time cruising with Princess and I must say we were disappointed. We chose the Island Princess because of the itinerary it offered with the Panama Canal Crossing (09Jan19 sailing). Embarkation was easy and luggage delivered promptly. Lunch was very good at the Horizon Court Buffet but was disappointed no music playing on the pool deck to get you in the rhythm of the Caribbean. ...
We used Princess to go to Asia . It was good but had faults so we used Norwegian . Decided to give them another try . We did this Panama and other stops cruise . Ship was old but ok , Decore was good oldie woldie . In places a bit worn . We had a disabled cabin . Good room , good cabin , good space . Small tv where as non disabled get a large tv . I thought this unfair and voiced ...
We wanted to go on the Panama Canal cruise. The itinerary was great, stopping at all the places we wanted to see. The excursions we took thru Princess were fabulous. We also enjoyed just seeing some of the places on our own. The evening shows were mediocre....the performers, comedians, illusionists were good, but the actual shows put on by Princess were just mediocre. There wasn't enough ...
