Disappointment galore!

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

My husband and I chose Princess because they had come so highly rated. In the past, we had cruised using other cruise lines and had wonderful experiences. We were really excited about going on a Princess ship through the Panama Canal. The ship itself is outdated. Windows were not cleaned regularly if all on board. The dining rooms and buffet had a 60's decor. We especially found our room ...

badgered by relatives and friends to go.....would not have done it otherwise...no regrets. This was my first Ocean Cruise.....have done two other river cruises. By far a much bigger ship with much more available. Getting on and off the ship was a hassle but not unexpected for the number of people. The people on the ship were all polite and helpful. Our facilities were all clean however I ...

I picked this cruise because it fit into a narrow window I had for travel. In some ways it worked out as it was inexpensive. I travel solo, and when I booked the price for a balcony was only a few hundred more than an inside. I took it. The ports were nothing new for me. Outside of the Mexican Riveria, I've done Western Caribbean more than any other destination. Princess Cays was ...

Not for me!

Beverage package a joke. You paid for unlimited sodas, juices etc. And 15 alcohol drinks and they only give you one at a time! Couldn't even get 2 to take to your room! Had to keep walking back. Much to their surprise if you did use all 15, then they could have sold more to you! Felt like a teenager being watched. Get up early for an excursion to meet in theater just for them to make a big ...

Princess is our preferred cruise line. Staff and services are superior to other cruise lines. This was our first voyage aboard Regal. The medallion status is amazing....very comparable to Disneys wristbands. The food and dining experience is the best of all the cruise lines we have experienced. Every single crew member was exceptional. Everything was positive. Cannot think of one area that ...

Great cruise on the Regal Princess

We chose this cruise for my parents and we sailed with 9 family members. This was my 5th cruise and the embarkation was the smoothest I have experienced. The ship is new and beautiful, staff are friendly and professional, and the food is awesome - even in the buffet. The selection was broad, including vegan and vegetarian options, and even sugar-free desserts for diabetics like me. The menu in the ...

This was our second cruise with Princess in the Caribbean. We were very pleased with the first cruise and this second one didn’t disappoint. The Regal Princess is a new ship so the cabin and all public areas were in excellent condition and very attractive. We particularly enjoy the Piazza area on Princess ships. This is a great central area to relax, people watch and enjoy a variety of ...

Loved Our Cruise!

We chose this cruise because it was two weeks and a decent itinerary, but mainly because it was a great deal! We loved the Medallions! When we walked up to our door, it would unlock, no need to try to find your room key. The updated TV programming was great! Lots of movies & TV shows you could pause & finish watching whenever. The internet was much, much better! Food & service was also ...

Regal Princess: Old and tired much like the entertainment and overall feeling.

Princess cruise was always our go to cruise and loved the Regal but they are trending in the wrong direction IMO. Cutbacks on every front - skimping and saving wherever they can. Entertainment was bad, same old and tired stuff - time to invest in new production shows !!! The comedian was the absolute worse ... just NOT funny at all ... embarrassing really. No live bands at the pool. They try and ...

7 Night Caribbean Cruise Away From The Cold For 2

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

This was our first time sailing on the Regal Princess. We have been on about 9 other cruises with several cruise lines. We chose this cruise because we wanted a modestly priced trip that included warm weather, beach time, and a new place to visit. The Regal is huge with lots of activities to occupy people but still had places you could get away from the crowd. We had been to Fort ...
