VERY OLD SHIP

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Coral Princess

This ship can only be weeks away from being scrapped. The public areas are fine but the cabins and public toilets are out of the ark. Flaking grout everywhere you looked. A BIG gripe was the horrible cheap toilet paper and tissues. There are no air dryers that we found anywhere. Of the 7 main meals we had in one of the main dining rooms, 5 were bland & tasteless but 2 were good.Nicely ...

Sue and I came home Monday from the August 12th Greenland Iceland cruise out of Southampton on the Island Princess. We are really are hoping that on our next cruise that we have a different experience or we may cancel the 7 other cruises we currently booked with Princess. Greenland and Iceland were awesome and the Captain took a detour through Prince Christian Sound that nothing less than ...

From good to bad....Kids club amazing!! My 5 year old son loved it and could not wait to get back there. Lots of free stuff for him with all the activities. Service on board excellent. Food nothing special or amazing, seamed to have run out of some stuff mid cruise in the bufffet. Entertainment ok. Charged for shuttles and transfers to destinations not great. Ship shore excursions extortionate. ...

Racist Staff on 50th Birthday

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Coral Princess

Firstly, my wife booked this cruise to surprise me as a 50th Birthday gift to celebrate me turning the big 5.0. What a disaster ! The front desk counter 1 male crew was incredibly rude to my wife, and also what seemed like racist intent. She came back to the room crying and I told her to call the Manager immediately which she did. She got hung up on, so she had to ring back again. Nothing was ...

Princess post Covid is not what it use to be… unsatisfied

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Have taken 14 cruises using several cruise lines… 2 with Princess that were very good experiences…. This one was disappointing on many levels. 1. Customer service pre-cruise weak (45 min waits on phone and reps with no answers) 2. Limited number of excursions- closed out of several eight weeks before cruise 3. Excursions over-priced and mostly sub-par- not seeing much and tour guides ...

Princess Dethroned!!

Greatly disappointed compared to previous cruises. Their app is not easy to use, system crashed several times, very slow and confusing. When calling customer service for assistance before the cruise, they seemed confused and not able to clarify pre-boarding tests. During check-in the staff didn't even check out our covid test results! Several nights we were first in line for dinner and requested a ...

Good to be back cruising with friendly people

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

This cruise was in Canada in an area that we hadn't seen before & we didn't have to fly overseas. It started in Quebec City overnighting there. It was really hot in Quebec & we took a walking tour that was supposed to be moderate but many of us couldn't keep up with the tour guide. Someone ran ahead to ask her to slow down. Every night we ate dinner with guests sharing a table in the dining ...

What a Disappointing First Post Covid Cruise

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

I really wanted to enjoy this cruise. I did. To be honest, my family and I had a great time and enjoyed each other's company in our first family vacation since the bulk of the pandemic has (hopefully) in the rear view mirror. What brings folks together is often a common problem - in this case the cruise line, staff, and food. Embarkation and Debarkation were well oiled machines. Well ...

Very disappointing

This was our first cruise on Princess. While we've been on over a dozen cruises, all have been on Royal Caribbean. We chose this particular cruise because it was the only one that departed from Quebec City during the time we wanted to sail. Embarcation was very smooth. We arrived at our designated check-in time and were able to walk straight through the entire check-in process, including ...
