We were celebrating an anniversary and wanted to go to a few places we had not been to before. We also wanted to make the transatlantic crossing. The itinerary and timing fit our schedule very well. The personnel that met us in Copenhagen were very thorough and made sure all of our luggage was taken care of. The entire crew was both professional and personable. We met and enjoyed ...

Last cruise we will do on Princess, dining room food poor, even the speciality dinner was poor , heavy cold soup starter we requested Fish at the winemakers dinner it was inedible so overcooked it was like leather .... I complained to hotel manager but to no avail. Chef Stone may want to review his affiliation with Princess, the belly pork speciality was appalling, no crackling, just a lump of ...

Not a fan of the Regal

I am just reviewing the ship, not the cruise. Venues: Poor, poor use of venues on this ship. They have trivia in Princess live, which is set up like a recording studio, everyone is in rows. It is not very team friendly. Isn't the whole point of trivia to meet other people? This was not possible in this space and plus, it is small. No one liked it. Vista lounge: Nice place, but ...

We chose this cruise for the intinerary and were very pleased! The Regal Princess is just that, Regal. We were hesitant to book a larger ship but it actually worked out better for our tastes. We booked the Transatlantic cruise starting in Copenhagen and landing in New York 14 days later. The ship is beautiful and well appointed, well layed out and lots of choices for entertainment daily ...

Avoided Hurricane Jose

This was our first transatlantic crossing and we were impressed by Princess' care and concern for our safety while avoiding Hurricane Jose. We had two extra sea days because the hurricane came up the east coast causing us to miss docking in Boston and Newport, RI. Instead we sailed almost to North Carolina before turning north to New York City. The waves were rough one day, not hurricane ...

Princess is changing, and not necessarily for the better

We chose this cruise because we have a 15 year history with Princess, along with an itinerary we found interesting This ship is very nice and is the sister ship of the Royal, launched 2 years prior. Well appointed with a layout that still needs tweaking but nice. The cabin was nice, but as with the Royal, the balcony was very narrow. Our cabin service was excellent. Our steward even ...

This is our 19 cruise on Princess and our second on the Regal. The Regal holds 3600 passengers and when you are on a transatlantic and the Princess theatre is UNAVAILABLE for the entire cruise and the weather is cold and blustery this is not good. The guest entertainers were great and gave 45 to 60 minute shows. The Production Shows were short and rather boring. The food although good was ...

North Sea and Transatlantic in Accessible Cabin

The Cooler weather and the ports of the British isles and Copenhagen were the primary reason for booking this cruise. Also, booking had to be on a ship with an available handicap accessible room. I did complain to Princess about the width of their utility carts being a problem for someone with a scooter, however. The linen carts don't present a problem, But those utility carts are wider and ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We liked the idea that Scotland and Ireland was included which was on our bucket list. The entertainment was excellent. We enjoyed the Bravo production which I thought was one of the best. The live music in the Piazza was very entertaining during the day and in the evening. The group " The Real Deal" was a plus to the Regal. There could be an ...

The ship is very classy. We did not get to stop in Boston or Newport due to Hurricane Jose. However, Princess stopped at the Manhatten cruise terminal. We were able to walk two piers down and see the Intrepid Museum, Concord, and Space Shuttle then walk to Times Square. That was an excellent consolation to missing two ports. If you ever have the chance sailing into Manhatten terminal in ...
