We chose this cruise for the itinerary. This was our 31st cruise. We loved all of the ports. Our food was good as was the service. Our biggest complaint deals with handicapped accessible areas. Chose it for the ports we hadn't visited before. Quality and choices of food were lacking in dining rooms. Went to Horizon Court for more options which I have never done before.

It was a 15 days cruise to some places we'd never been. We traveled with another couple and we all decided this would be a nice cruise.
We will never take the Island Princess again, it is quite old, has added too many rooms for the facilities (gym, all dining rooms, loungers, pool), everything is overwhelmed by the number of guests. I've never been on a ship that had an old cabbage (or worse) ...

Enjoy cruising with Princess and the Island Princess was our choice! The ports and the Panama Canal was our dream/bucket list!
We were lucky enough to be upgraded for a minimal charge to a mini suite and what a wonderful experience that was! The beds were really comfortable and the sofa was comfortable to sit and relax on! We really enjoyed the cabin.
