Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Coral Princess

When you read everything about the tours it is not accurate. They say no steps, but they do not tell you that it is uneven ground and steep inclines. All the pools were 5 feet or more. So you could not walk in water or exercise. Pool chairs were reserved with no one using them for hours And to charge for the one pool. Come on The guest service desk was very unfriendly and was not ...

A nice ship but a few drawbacks

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Royal Princess

We choose this cruise because it fit our timing with trying to get several family members together. We have previously cruised with Royal Caribbean. Embarkation at Port Everglades was fast and smooth. Disembarkation was not. Lines were long. The Royal Princess is a smaller ship that the RCL Navigator of Seas so it did feel like we could get around the ship easily. It seemed to us that the cruisers ...

We love princess, and the fact that they give $100 credit to Veterans. Food is great, itinerary was what I wanted. Royal Carib. is our second choice but they are becoming the modern "Pirates of the Caribbean" in that they "Nickle and Dime you" for everything. Our room steward and the one in the adjoining area were very friendly and helpful. I have a small mobility scooter, that fits in the room ...

1st of 3 B2B cruises (34 Days)

Hello, I spent 34 days on 3 back to back cruises, same cabin, on the Royal, beginning with this one. I have been on the Royal before, the Regal as well. I did this 7 day Caribbean, the 15 day Southern Atlantic crossing, then the 12 day British Isles. What a great “made up” itinerary for a great fun journey. If you have the time, this is something I will always look for at the turn of the ...

We did a back to back first seven days sailing around Caribbean. Excellent embankment on the ship in no time. We had sailed on the Regal before so it was much the same. Our first cabin was on Emerald deck E220 which was near the front of the ship. It was a delux cabin had a sofa in the cabin, the was the only difference. The food was good, we especially enjoyed eating at the International ...

Best First Cruise Ever!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Royal Princess

Princess really surprised me as I thought my parents had got us into something really boring. Boy was I wrong! The staff was outstanding and very friendly. The on-board entertainment, food, activities and amenities are excellent. I do wish however that there was some entertainment geared more towards a younger crowd, not in youth centres. The ports we visited were really nice. We got to ...

the island of Princess Cays needs to be upgraded. we did the surf fishing, which should be discontinued, You either fall ,or loose you lure on the rocks, no chance of catching anything. St Maarten was very eye-opening and sad, hoppefully They get there act to togh=ether and rebuild. We went to the Ocean Terrace seafood bar, on the last night and they had no oysters left, but im sure they could ...

Good Value Cruise - High end "Encore" Show

Princess Cruise Lines has always been a line with which I personally prefer to travel. I chose this particular cruise due to the value. Not having children allows me the flexibility to travel off-season when I can often get the best value for my money. Having travelled to the Ports of call offered on this cruise, it was nice to see that there were some different shore excursions offered ...

Celebration of our 48 years together

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Royal Princess

User Avatar

We booked this cruise to celebrate 48 years of marriage and we were confident that Princess would meet our needs. Since we had attained platinum status, the extra perks were great. We felt that service overall was outstanding especially in the Allegro (traditional) dining room with Hugo as our waiter. I also wanted to increase my order from 1 dozen red roses to 4 dozen red roses to commemorate our ...
