Happy with cruise and ship overall...cabin was much bigger than we expected and closet was huge...bedwere so comfortable that we purchased the exact mattress when we got home. We did not buy drink package...it would have been $1400.00 for two since it was a ten day cruise...after the cruise we checked our statement and we spent 1/3 of what the drink pkg costs... so we made the right ...
I chose this cruise as I wanted to experience the Panama Canal but we just went through the locks. I had hoped we would have done more of the canal before we got to the locks. The ship was ok just the same as other Princess ships I guess I had a mini suite with a balcony not sure what was extra other than a bath tub? Lots of cruise lines have seating areas in a balcony cabin I feel this was ...
Chose this 20 day due to ports. Most were cancelled ports. They took away Barcelona without telling us or reducing the price the storm caused us to not get what we paid for. Food was ok. Service in dining room was good. Smaller ship was nice. Entertainment was good. The traditional seating was slow service. To get to theatre productions you had to get there 45 min early. Shame not enough ...
We had cruised 6 times and always encouraged to go Princess so, we did. It was however, a disappointment.
The condition of the ship was not good. We had rusted out parts of our balcony. Also, our toilet would start on it's own throwing brown water on the bathroom and our things. It happened more than once. Also the sink stopper kept coming apart, no matter how many times they fixed it, it ...
We had been on many other ships but this was our second Princess cruise and we were on it for 20 days. Our first was to the Mediterranean for 21 days. The ship is large and nicely layout out. The rooms are typical and comfortable. We loved the food and both in the dinning room and the buffet. The entertainment was diverse and my only complaint is the sound level was too high. Some ships do better ...
The ship was very difficult to navigate, we had dinner on the 6th floor, most elevators do not go to the 6th floor, so we had to go down to deck 7, then take stairs down to 6. This was an issue for my husband who uses a cane. Only 2 elevators went all the way down, but most of the time they went right past us.
The cabin C-238 had problems with the a/c, we had to call 3 times, and they finally ...
We chose this cruise because of where it was going and on the advice of our travel agent. We thought the staff was amazing food was great plenty of choices. Shows were really good. We will definitely sail with them again. They made our first cruise a wonderful experience and we expected alot. Can't say enough good things. The main areas of the ship were done beautifully and were very comfortable ...
We chose princess this time to try what we thought would be a higher quality experience. We had a good time on the cruise as we chose to enjoy ourselves even if our expectations were not met. It was not a waste of money but it would have been better spent on another cruise line.
The cabin was standard and comfortable. The problem we had was a smell coming up through the shower drain. After ...
We always fly in the day of the cruise and never had an issue until this time. Thank goodness I use Princess Air to book. Our 7:30 a.m. flight was cancelled 15 minutes before boarding due to the crew being stuck somewhere else. We managed to get a flight to Tampa and then a prop plane to FLL. We missed muster so had our own private one at 4. We should have been some of the first on the ship ...
The Medallion Program was rolled out when we boarded the ship, maybe on final test, but the results were life changing for frequent cruisers! For Elite and Platinum cruisers, unlimited internet was provided! The staff said this was temporary, but if Princess will continue with the program, it would definitely tip the scales toward Princess in cruise selection. Each room had an access point, and ...
