Princess has done the Fall Colors cruise right

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We have been to many of the stops on this cruise, but the price was right and we have wanted to see the fall colors. Plus it gave us a chance to see the Atlantic Provinces of PEI and Nova Scotia. The colors did not disappoint although we missed Bar Harbor and St. John due to a storm that blew in while we were in port in Boston. We did none of the Princess offered tours (I'm just not into ...

This cruise is not my favourite itinerary but we did want to see the East Coast, especially New York and Quebec and both were fabulous. Could not get into Bar Harbor or St. John due to rough seas. I would have rather gone in September for better weather. The staff were all awesome except for our room steward who was not that great. We had an accessible room and it was fabulously large as was ...

Chose the cruise to see the leaves changing in new england and to relax. Seems like we had the “B” team on the cruise....there was a noro virus outbreak on the cruise prior to ours, so boarding was delayed for the ship to be sanitized...when we got to our cabin we found someones 1/2 drunk sprite in our mini fridge and their shampoo cap on the shower floor...clearly our bathroom and fridge wasn't ...

Nice first cruise experience, though some things were lacking

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Regal Princess

I took this cruise with my husband because I had never been on a cruise before and we wanted to see some fall foliage. The ports were incredible and so different each day. We were sad to miss Halifax, but the experience of being in a tropical storm was something we'll always laugh at and look back on fondly. My husband and I are early 30s, and we had a hard time finding activities that we ...

Having cruised with other cruise lines and European River Cruises I wanted to try Princess. The Medallion Class made everything so much easier for everything you did, faster embarkation, excursions, everything! The Captain kept us well advised at all times, we had 5 days and nights of beautiful sunny weather, but our last port (Halifax) we luckily skipped due to a Noreaster. If we had made the ...

Beautiful Ship, Fabulous Food, Missed Halifax Though

Previous experience on this ship and desire to visit Halifax was the reason to take this cruise. We were a group of 12 and even though, due to extremely bad weather, we were not able to visit Halifax, we all had a fabulous time. The food is delicious, great choices and best rolls on any ship. The ship is gorgeous, clean and bright. The balcony room was spacious enough for two ladies and there ...

Subpar value for the price

This was our 8th cruise and our first experience with Princess. Our overall experience did not rise to the level of our previous cruises with Celebrity and Cunard. If the Princess cruise line is supposed to be an "Up-scale" brand for the Carnival Corporation, then they have ways to go. We noticed small things that were not quite right. The service was often very good, but inconsistent. Our ...

We chose this cruise because it was a new location to cruise to for us. We never like to cruise for just 7 days so we actually booked this as a B2B2B cruise and were on the Regal from Oct 12 to Oct 31. It was our first time cruising out of New York. This was also our first time on the Regal and the first time on a medallion class ship. We arrived in NY the night before we cruised and stayed in ...

First cruise in a long time

Was taken on this cruise, I did not choose it. Years ago I experienced large ship cruising on the now retired QE2, about 30 yrs ago.... it seemed more elegant then and less cattle herding. The cabin had a balcony and I found it extremely comfortable and by past standards, roomy. it was clean and the steward was a dream. The activities were never ending and there was something for all. The food ...

This was our first cruise with the Princess line, but we have cruised with Carnival and Holland America previously. We chose this New England/Canada cruise for two reasons: we wanted to visit New York City, and we had never been to New England. We arrived in NYC two days before the cruise and visited as many historic sites that we could: Times Square, Liberty and Ellis Islands, Castle Clinton, ...
