We chose this cruise because it offered opportunities to visit California and enjoy a cruise. However, many seniors and handicapped people were on this cruise. I felt they were not as accommodating for them. The elevators could not accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, scooters and able-bodied cruisers. They were so small that they could hardly accommodate 12-13 people when the capacity was 18. ...

Regal Princess - NY Roundtrip

What most determined our choosing this particular cruise was The Itinerary and most of all it was out of NYC which is driving distance away. We have traveled Princess before. This is a newer ship in good shape. The cleanliness of the Ship was great. Our cabin was quiet and extreemly clean. The quality of food was not as good as it was two years ago when we traveled on the same ship. Things ...

Our class chose this destination on a majority vote for our 45th college reunion. We wanted a cruise that would take us to the East Coast and Canada for the Fall Foliage. Our travel agent suggested a Princess cruise based on previous clients' recommendations. The embarkation was smooth and all the staff were very helpful and showed us the way to our stateroom and the dining room for lunch. Our ...

We were in a large group. Perfect fir us to hang out and also do things separate from group. Our room was great, service was not amazing and the communication of where entertainment was held was missed by most of us. Probably our fault. We all had many drinks, ate with the sane servers each night and no attempt to make trip special was seen. I just found that the service was not personal or ...

We had always wanted to see the fall leaves in the NE and this trip did not disappoint. The ports were perfect and even when weather prevented us from going into St John the cruise staff made it a fun day at sea. Our room had plenty of space with lots of drawers, shelves and closet space. We like an interior room because we spend most of our time out and about watching shows, playing games, ...

Nicely re-furbished older ship, but the cruise did not meet our expectations

We took this cruise because we wanted to see Fall foliage, enjoy some cool weather and visit a part of the country we hadn’t yet visited. The ship went to great measures to avoid a repeat of an apparent increase in the level of GI outbreak they experienced on the previous cruise. Crew was constantly wiping down, and no passengers were allowed to handle buffet serving utensils for nearly ...

Princess - Not what it used to be!

We have not been on Princess for about 8 years and decided to do the Canada New England itinerary on the Caribbean Princess. She is definitely not the right ship to do that itinerary. It was cold and the decks were unusable which led to overcrowding inside. If the ship had had a covered pool at least we would have been able to spend some time outside. When we joined the ship we were delayed ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, After first day I was injured and not able to return to ship, due to being hospitalized for 4 days. No one from Princess has yet to inquire what happened to us, or where we were. So much for checking in and out with the new Medalion system. They had our phone # do they not care about their passengers? It's been 2 weeks. Yet they were happy to charge my ...

Fall Cruising - the good, the bad and the cold

We chose a fall cruise to celebrate my landmark birthday and to see the fall colors. We spent two nights in NYC (Columbus Day weekend) before getting on the ship. We were fine our first two ports, but then a Nor'Easter storm landed us in Boston and lost us two ports by the time the weather cleared. You really did not want to leave the ship and explore as they kept changing the time we would ...

My Husband & I had never been to the East Coast and I was excited to see the fall colors. We are both history buffs and I wanted to explore the history of this region. Our room was excellent and my favorite which is the last balcony on floor 14 as the balcony is a bit larger and the view is better for me. Our room Stuart was excellent. The bed and pillows were very nice. Room service in ...
