We chose Princess because we had friends who suggested them. Princess exceeded our expectations. No problems with embarkation or disembarkation. The cabin, a deluxe balcony room, had all the space and amenities we needed, it was easy to manage getting around the ship and the entertainment was very good with a very good house band, Evolution, playing different music styles. Danced many nights and ...
We sailed on the Regal Princess for the Baltic Cruise. We love the Regal. Even though the ship has a lot of passengers, it never felt crowded. We had a mini suite on the Lido deck, as we like the little rocking at night, but atlas the seas were so smooth, there was no rocking.
The Regal uses the Medallion. Embarkation took under 5 minutes and your cabin door opens as you move towards it. ...
Chose to get on it Germany because there is way too much to see in Berlin and port is 2+ hours away. Flew in several days before cruise departure so we could tour Berlin first. Highly recommend a Hop-On-Hop-Off 48 hour pass. Tour of nearby Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp is very affordable when purchased directly (just $25) and not as a Princess excursion. Took a cab back to Tegel Airport to get ...
We did the Mediterranean on this ship a few years ago and we enjoyed returning to this beautiful ship. The food on Princess in my opinion is a cut above many other lines but I did notice a slight change in quality on the many beef dishes. Still very good though. The medallion program is very convenient, however, there seems to still be some bugs to be worked out on the Ocean compass and now apps. ...
Choose this cruise as it was leaving on date that afforded some of best opportunity for good weather and ability to see marine wildlife and glacier activity. I am more of a casual traveler, not swimsuits but not formal. This was geared to the formal experience of dress and meals, relegated to the Buffett most nights. The entertainment at night was less than average when compared to other ...
I was on the Regal Princess for the 11 night Northern Europe cruise. This is a two week cruise that goes to many different countries. Here are my impressions of the cruise.
Wifi for the first week was absolutely terrible. I had enough wifi for instant messaging but activities such as browsing a website will not work. The connection was terrible. The wifi improved during the second week but ...
Our travel agent in good faith helped us decide on the subject cruise. The decision was driven largely by the ports of call, and a generally good experience expressed by other clients regarding Princess.
We are not seasoned cruisers but we travel extensively with bookings we do on our own. We were on a cruise with Royal Caribbean many years ago and two years ago with Celebrity. It was the ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary - visiting some Norwegian ports we've not been to before and a new country, Iceland, which I've always wanted to visit. We weren't disappointed - fabulous scenery, extremely lucky to get great weather, and really liked the Sapphire Princess - just the right size as it didn't feel too big or crowded even on sea days. And its had a bit of a refurb so felt a ...
We will NEVER cruise Princess again!
We took this Cruise because of the destination: Norway and Iceland:
This was a Special Family celebration cruise planned and paid for by Mom celebrating her 90th birthday.
Ship was very old and customer service the worst!
For Mom's birthday she got a banner and balloons that said: "Happy Anniversary." :(
Our scheduled family birthday ...
