We boarded in St. Petersburg after a 4 day stay in town. Wonderful visit and nice, safe place, with friendly people. Lots to see and do, and cabs are cheap.
The terminal experience was very unusual however. We expected the regular crush of hundreds of other passengers, but there were fewer than a dozen that we saw during our processing. The Medallion system isn't really much of a benefit ...
Because Princess gave us compensation from our last cruise on Golden Princess (which was a disaster, no toilet etc). Had to drink hot beverages out of plastic cups in Horizon. Also in the same place when needing a cold plate they were always hot and when you required a hot plate they were cold. Most food was Italian or curries (always with a sauce), it would have been nice to have some plain and ...
We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The best part for us was the bed!! the most comfortable sleep like being on a cloud. Our accommodations were wonderful. We had a suite and big balcony. One morning we had room service and it was perfect but we preferred to go to Sbabinit's for club class private breakfast. Food was special, service with attentive wait staff and always with joy. ...
We chose the cruise because of ports we wanted to visit.
We have elite status on Princess and had been on the Regal twice before and this third time was a big disappointment. The quality/selection of the food was limited and awful and either over cooked and/or frequently cold. Many evenings the diningrm menu offerings were mediocre enough to warrant our going to the buffet, where service was ...
Princess Cruises with the Regal was outstanding. We are elite so we have a few cruises with Princess but this time the entire staff: dinning room waiter (Herbert), assistance waiter (Veljko), dinning room manager (Norbert), dinning room hostess(Yaniris), and room steward (Carlos) were exceptional with friendly attitude, willingness to provide service, interest in our activities on ship and in ...
Started off with great embarkation and very good cabin (C425 interior). But we were shocked at how many things were not included in our cruise. A good cup of black coffee was only available at the International Cafe and they charged over a dollar for just a cup of black coffee! You could get free coffee at the buffet and through room service, but that coffee was so weak we couldn't stomach it! ...
This is a 8th cruise with Princess and our second time on the Regal Princess.
We fully enjoyed all the cities in the Baltic region we went to and concentrated mainly of the visiting and not time on the ship. The staff on the ship made you feel comfortable and were always polite and made sure all your needs were met. We only went to a few shows on the ship and found them OK but not of high ...
We flew onto Copenhagen the day before the cruise making our way to the ship on our own.
This cruise went to many places in northern and Eastern Europe in the former Soviet block.
We enjoy visiting historic and UNESCO sites and St. Petersburg’s palaces and churches and the Peterhof Palace and gardens were wonderfully beautiful on a grand scale.
In the evening we enjoyed a variety of ...
Exceeded our expectations from embarkation to debarkation. Crews are very friendly and helpful. You don’t get hungry as lots of yummy foods on board and lots of sporting activities you can do on board to ensure you don’t get extra kg while indulging with lots of good variety of foods. Medallion class made everything on board really easy. They have a very systematic system where everything really ...
My husband was celebrating a BIG birthday, and he loves cruising. I was looking for a cruise where we could celebrate in style. I was also looking for a trip that would cross some locations off of his bucket list. This trip fit the bill perfectly.
Let me start my review by talking about the check-in process. It was excellent! We took advantage of the early medallion check-in. Here is how ...
