Lovely to relax and be spoiled for 12 days

We selected this cruise because it was to and from Australia and would include Milford Sound which we did not see on our last cruise there when we entered the sound at 5am and departed at 6am (all in the dark). We were also looking forward to seeing Christchurch and the progress there since the earthquake. Unfortunately, due to bad weather in both places we spent 2 extra days at sea and did not ...

I planned my Australia and New Zealand vacation with Princess Cruises so I could see the most I could within the 24 Days I had down-under. I did this even though Princess Cruises does not have a single supplement so I paid suite passage for two people. Princess Cruises was the only cruise line that offered the land tour. Since this was my first trip to the region I wanted to see as much of ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the South Island and the fjords. We had great weather up to Dunedin where it down poured all day. We woke up early to see the amazing sail in to Akaroa which is a tender port. Definitely get up early. It was spectacular with the sunrise. This is supposed to be the most beautiful of all the ports. It was a picture perfect day with very little wind. We were enjoying ...

Excellent Ship and Cruise

Was hesitant about booking on Ruby Princess based on previous reviews. Yes, the ship is showing signs of wear in some places but is extremely well maintained. Food was very good in restaurants, and other free options such as pizza and burgers if the buffet became repetitive. Our balcony cabin on deck 14 was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Shower a bit on small side though. The staff were ...

Chose this cruise sailing from Sydney to see the Fiordlands unfortunately we were not told that there is only a small chance to see them, Apparently the ships are often denied entry to the Fiords because of possible weather. So of course we did get to see that portion. Had we known about this we would not have booked. On the first night we tried the dining room (Botticelli) the Chef in there ...

After several enjoyable Cruises with Carnival we chose to go with Princess Cruises from Sydney 13nights to New Zealand, we were told Carnival was a 3 star cruise line and Princess was a 4 star cruise. When we phoned Princess we told them of our dietary requirements and were told that we would be well catered for and there would be no problems with those requirements. Nothing could have been ...

Service has dropped considerably. After 3 cruises with Princess cruises we are now considering other cruises companies not connected with Princess or Carnival. No happy hour. This gave us an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy our cruise. Over priced Princess excursions. We and just about everyone we speak to will not consider booking on shore excursions with Princess when then the ...

First cruise - loved it!

We figured we'd probably never fly to Vanuatu or Fiji so why not try cruising. This South Pacific 14 day cruise offer popped into our inbox and we signed up - no consideration for the ship or the time of year - but it turned out to be a great decision. We had such a good time! The Majestic Princess is a very big ship but we never felt crowded. It did take us a while to find our way around but ...

Cabin and staff are fine. Entertainment apart from main shows is third rate. Food is bland and cheap. THIS IS A PROFIT DRIVEN SHIP AT THE COST OF QUALITY. Entertainment Staff appear to go through the motions and do the minimum that is required. i think i spotted the cruise director once off stage, that was when he was recording in his private studio (Live) That was a ...
